Editor's Review

bareMinerals The Magic Touch Eyeshadow Duo ($20.00 for 0.09 oz.) contains a light and medium-dark shade for a quick and easy eye that can be created with just these two shades. They're easily combined with other eyeshadows in your stash, but they worked well together as a duo. Both shades were easy to use, good quality, and long-wearing. As a heads up, Presto was featured in a limited edition holiday gift set last year (see my post here); Flicker was featured in a holiday palette from 2012 (which I don't recall reviewing).

I've yet to be disappointed by a single "Ready" eyeshadow (and I have a LOT of them). Flicker was one of the shadows that was always on my list of "I'll pick it up one day" shades and when I saw that Sephora was phasing out a lot of the duos and quads, I grabbed the last one of these at my local store. As Christine says in her review, this is such a handy duo because it's one you can reach for every day and use all on its own for a really nice looks or two. Presto is a fleshy/peach shade with a silky sheen. It works perfectly all over the lid, right up to the brow bone. It's not too shiny or frost and is pretty much close to my skin tone. Flicker is the sort of colour I can't get enough of - a slightly lighter version of Inglot 419, MAC Sumptuous Olive or Fiction, etc. - a bronzed olive brown that pairs nicely with Presto and which is just type of shadow I love to wear all year round, though it's a totally perfect autumn shade. The texture of both of these shadows is unbeatable.
