Pat McGrath Flesh Astral & Flesh Fantasy LUST Lip Glosses Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Flesh Astral
Pat McGrath Flesh Astral LUST Lip Gloss ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a soft, peachy-coral with warm undertones and fine, pink and gold shimmer. It had semi-sheer color coverage, which applied evenly and didn’t gather too noticeably into my lip lines. The gloss was lightweight with a smooth, spreadable consistency that was comfortable to wear over the three hours it lasted for. The formula felt hydrating while worn.

Formula Overview
$30.00/0.15 oz. - $200.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "multidimensional shine" with a "non-sticky texture" that "nourishes" with "exceptional adherence." The opacity ranges from "opaque to transparent." The color coverage really does vary quite a bit, but most of the shades I've tried are sheer to medium in coverage--the brand could be clearer on which shades are opaque.
The consistency has a smooth, lightweight texture that wasn't tacky and was comfortable to wear. For the most part, they didn't seem to sink into my lip lines, which can be a pitfall of gloss. I didn't find the wear time to be better than average--three to four hours--but the formula was moderately hydrating. There was a subtle vanilla scent but no discernible taste when worn.

Flesh Fantasy
Pat McGrath Flesh Fantasy LUST Lip Gloss ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had good pigmentatio that applied without streaking, but a noticeable amount of product that gathered in my lip lines. It had a smooth, almost cream-like texture that was non-sticky and easy to spread across my lips. I just wish it did a better job of filling/smoothing out my lip lines, though. The color stayed on well for four hours and was moisturizing over time.

Kind of cracks me up when I see 6 MAC dupes for Flesh Astral and all about 85% dupes. Think MAC is duping themselves all the time? !!
I thought the same thing! 😀
Not buying either one. I will say this, Nyx Mega Gloss in Smokey Look may be a dead-on dupe Flesh Fantasy! I should take mine out and put it back in to rotation. Um, or not. My tube is around 6 years old…. ?
