Pat McGrath Flash Sale: Midnight Sun, Decadence, Fleur Fantasia & More!
Pat McGrath just added several products to the Xclusiv Offers section for a limited time as a “flash sale.” Though it’s marked as a “limited” flash sale, there was no end date that I saw, just while supplies last (but there could be an end date… just not noted). Here are the products included:
- Rose Decadence MTHRSHP Palette for $39 (regularly $65)
- Fleur Fantasia Celestial Divinity Luxe Quad for $35 (regularly $58)
- Celestial Divinity MatteTrance Lipsticks (in Divine Romance or Amour) for $19 (regularly $38)
- Midnight Sun Mothership Palette for $88 (regularly $125)
- Decadence Mothership Palette for $88 (regularly $125)
- BlitzTrance Lipsticks for $19 (regularly $38)
- LUST Glosses for $14 (regularly $28)
This scarcity of Decadence and Divine Rose left a bad taste in my mouth. I am very glad to see all can have access to pretty much everything and bonus, at a discount.
It’s all so fake, so manufactured, so disingenuous, so MANIPULATIVE! Irks me no end. Analogous behavior from relatives or work is unacceptable. Why is it that PML gets away with it….it comes to be expected…and we pay though the nose to get her product?
I love Pat’s products, but it is grossly manipulative. I spent a lot of money on getting the Star Wars Decadence palette and the Divine Rose pink palettes because I got caught up in the hype. They’re beautiful and I don’t regret it (mostly), but the scramble and generated FOMO without follow through on exclusivity bugs me.
Well-said. I am disappointed to see some of these items on sale when they were so hyped up and so many people missed out because of the hype.
PMG has had a sale since the summer. This means her makeup does not hold its value. Why buy now if you’re just going to get it on sale later? It’s a poor strategy if you want people to keep feeling like it’s exclusive.
PMG’s palettes are excellent, but there are far too many pinks/rose/red shades for me.
I am so UNBELIEVABLY ticked at them for not shipping the Celestial Divinity palette after I ordered it, sending me the mascara I ordered WITHOUT it, and then WAITING UNTIL I ASKED WHAT WAS UP to tell me it had been canceled for being out of stock and only refunding me WHEN I ASKED FOR A REFUND THEN, that I don’t think I can ever bring myself to order from their website again, no matter WHAT they put on sale. The product quality is so good but the customer service is SO BAD. I feel like they tried to steal from me, and I’m usually pretty chill, but that was sixty dollars! That’s not nothing! And I was so excited for the palette. UGH. I’m still buying them from Sephora, but not from their own website.
