Note: I found this very unwearable — much too dark, too cool. I’d probably try to fix it by adding NSFW, so it’d be more of a vampy, berryish look. See, this is what I meant by a little black at a time!

Apple Dilution is very pretty! And I loved the way Morose looked when it was half mixed hahaha. Shame it came out so unwearable though ):

Reduce the amount of Tarred by about half may do the trick. I’m going to be picking up Katricia & Pageant this weekend and I will find the perfect formula! Once I do I will for sure let everyone know!

Ooohh these are beautiful too! I’m loving Apple Dilution, how about darkening it a bit with Tarred to get the perfect berry colour? Same thoughts about the half mixed Morose, it looks pretty! LOL

i like that you can blend your own preferred shades, but i am wondering to christine and anyone else who has tried these, what is the formula like? does it feel like a gloss or a lipstick? (…or in between?) sticky, drying etc…?

I have about 3 of them. They have application like a gloss, but they dry and feel like a nourishing lipstick, even if they still have a bit of shine. They have long wear, and they are not sticky at all!

I really love apple dilution!

I was thinking of getting the lip tars after seeing all these mixes! Just wondering:

1) Did you use any clear gloss? If yes, what brand did you use?
2) Did you try apple dilution to bleed more due to the gloss content?

Hi Christine,

I placed an order. LOL I went crazy & ended up getting 8 lip tars, 3 body paints & 1 nail polish. Can’t wait to see how they’ll turn out.

I wish I was going to IMATS. Would have loved to see you as well as the OCC counter there!

I might drive to Toronto to attend the IMATS in Toronto. Just wished I knew abt IMATS earlier! I could have attended the NYC show! 🙁
