FORMULA SUMMARY | NYX’s newest blush formula is supposed to be a “high definition, lightweight blush that blends evenly” that is “vibrant and silky.” The texture tended to be on the more powdery side, but it sits well and doesn’t look powdery applied. Many shades have a more luminous finish to them where the shimmer is fine enough to create a glow, rather than a frosted finish (though a couple are quite shimmery). The formula blends fairly easily on the skin and has medium, buildable coverage with some being very pigmented right off the bat. The wear time is between seven and eight hours. Nude ‘tude is semi-sheer, buildable coverage with a really soft, silky texture that practically crumbled when a brush touched it, so there was a lot of excess powder in the pan. If you are very fair, you may find it easy to over-apply as a lot of product gets on the brush if you aren’t careful. The blush is finely-milled, though, which makes it easy to blend out on the skin, and it doesn’t look powdery on. It lasted for seven and a half hours on me.

Hmmm, I don’t like ‘crumbly’ blushes, but I do like the color of this one.
The color is nice – harder to dupe, as it is lighter!
I like it. Since I would only need a tiny bit the formula sounds fine. I wouldn’t mind picking it up if I come across it at the store. Same with several of the blushes from this range.
It reminds me a bit of the Hourglass powders – very soft, though I think this kicks up a lot more than the Hourglass powders – but the product is quite nice.
Uh oh, this formula seems so fragile, I wonder if it will survive Ulta shipping and being bounced around in a purse all day long
LOL! I’m going to say probably not in a purse.
Eh…it’s OK. I have Park Ave. Princess, which I don’t use a whole lot, so I’d skip on this.
Covered 😉
It’s a very pretty natural looking blush. I like this kind of colors.
It would be nice for fair skin!
Yikes, that application is terrible! Way too crumbly!
Super soft!
This isn’t really a good blush – very hard to detect it on you Christine. It would be false economy to buy this one. A shame really, because NYX can do better.
Definitely better for someone super fair!
Wait – nude blush? I don’t even know what to say! LOL
Well, if one is super fair, I think this would be a light brown on them 🙂
A blush (real blush) is pink or pinkish — so that was why I was and am so perplexed by a brown blush?
While this shade would definitely work very nicely on fairer skintones than my own, the formula is waaay to loose and the crumbling that you mentioned definitely shows in the heavy swatch very clearly! I think Nyx needs to bring back the better quality of their OLD blushes back.
I wish it wasn’t so freakin’ fragile!
I said “what the heck!” in my head when I saw that swatch.
lol!
Oof product fail Nyx. Darn, it looked like it would’ve been pretty.
SO powdery!
I accidentally picked this abysmal shade up. Over tired and not paying attention, unfortunately :-/
I’m very rarely bothered about wasting under $10 on something I end up hating, even if I can’t return it, but this one is a definite regret. It’s a piece of poo IMO with no redeeming qualities as far as I’m concerned. I’m surprised it didn’t get a big fat F.
WTH was NYX thinking with this formulation??
Surprisingly powdery!
This reminds me of the matte bronzey looking shade in the ELF Light blush quad that’s only $6. It’s very light and brownish but on my skintone it’s more of a natural blush than any actual bronzer
