It’s an interesting shade, as it takes on a more plum-like colorinmg when applied heavily, but as it is blended and sheered out, the warmer, coppery tones come through. The finish also becomes more luminous the more the powder is buffed into the skin, but it is never too much so it doesn’t emphasize pores or the skin’s natural texture. It was nicely pigmented with a lightly dusty consistency, but it was very soft and easily blended on the skin. This shade wore well for eight hours on me before fading.

FORMULA SUMMARY | NYX’s newest blush formula is supposed to be a “high definition, lightweight blush that blends evenly” that is “vibrant and silky.” The texture tended to be on the more powdery side, but it sits well and doesn’t look powdery applied. Many shades have a more luminous finish to them where the shimmer is fine enough to create a glow, rather than a frosted finish (though a couple are quite shimmery). The formula blends fairly easily on the skin and has medium, buildable coverage with some being very pigmented right off the bat. The wear time is between seven and eight hours.

Oy! Now I’m debating in my head; get MAC Make You Mine ( on my wishlist! ), or take a chance and order this one! Obviously, I love these copper-plum type shades, LoL.
The ONLY thing making ordering this a perplexing issue is not knowing whether Nyx has fixed their issue with these breaking? Otherwise, I’ll buy Make You Mine on Friday when I go to MAC for my Shaft of Gold.

I think I will, as this type of shade is great for counter-acting “corpse face” when I wear certain lipstick colors. I don’t want to order it online, though, since this formula is fragile. I’ll keep my eye out in stores.

I wish NYX didn’t contain carmine. I’m so allergic to it, I always read the ingredients b/c I just can’t use it except in lipsticks. I love NYX products but can’t use a lot of them because of that doggoned carmine.

Christine, why does one cheek look brown with a hint of pink yet the other cheek that shows partially looks quite pink with no brown? Does it look like this in real life?
Also, usually most blushes look so good on you but this one looks dirty and a little splotchy.
