It had good pigmentation, and finally, a shade that wasn’t terribly powdery. The consistency was still soft, smooth, and fairly blendable (but it takes some patience and a light touch to get even application). Crimson is quite pigmented with a soft shimmer to it that becomes more pronounced as you buff it into the skin. It wore well for eight hours on me.
FORMULA SUMMARY | NYX’s newest blush formula is supposed to be a “high definition, lightweight blush that blends evenly” that is “vibrant and silky.” The texture tended to be on the more powdery side, but it sits well and doesn’t look powdery applied. Many shades have a more luminous finish to them where the shimmer is fine enough to create a glow, rather than a frosted finish (though a couple are quite shimmery). The formula blends fairly easily on the skin and has medium, buildable coverage with some being very pigmented right off the bat. The wear time is between seven and eight hours.

Ooooh this one is going on the wish list for sure!
Awesome 😀
I like this, it’s interesting that it’s softer when blended into the skin. More pink in colour. I’m so glad NYX has finally come to the UK, will have to go to the drugstore to have a browse!
You can definitely make it redder by going with a heavier application 😀
? lol
Excited to see a bright red at the drugstore, but it looks like it will pull pink on me, like most blushes do. What would you recommend for keeping its orange tone? UD Bang?
You could actually try layering a warmer peach or orange and then dusting red on top – especially if you already have it! Bang would be a good option, though!
Wow, this is super-pigmented for a DS blush, and the satin sheen makes it even prettier
It is!
I like that this is a slightly cooler version of Exhibit A!
Good eye!
That’s gorgeous! It turns to such a pretty, bright coral-red when blended out.
It does! I love the finish.
It’s a stunner! Looks really good applied to your cheeks, too. Like a natural wind-bitten winter flush. Especially for such a vivid shade of red!
It blends out nicely!
Very pretty. Frankly Scarlet is one of my favourites, it would be nice to have this as it’s a bit warmer. Wishlist is getting long. 🙂
At least this one isn’t so hard on the wallet, lol!
Really nice! My favorite red is Exhibit A, but I’m definitely picking this one up as a travel extra.
Nice! Good idea 🙂
not sure why but i just love these sort of blushes, really bright colors that look scary in the pan! i may have to pick this up!
