I am always on the hunt for “the perfect concealer” (which I don’t think exists but I’ll keep on looking) so I’m eager to see what users say about this one and I’ll probably break down and buy it.
Oh, Mariella, I feel your pain. I have yet to find one that warrants keeping.
I can’t wait to try these!
This looks interesting! I recently swatches NARS’ stick concealers at Sephora, and didn’t like them at all–they weren’t opaque and had a weird, silicone like texture that emphasized dry spots. Maybe this will be better!
Might have to give this a try one day!
I still have way too many foundations/concealers to get through (even after a significant purge), so I’ll have to wait on this. However, I’ve decided when I do get around to buying new face products (probably around the New Year), I’m going with NARS; so far, from what I’ve tried, it’s the best fit for my needs.
I prefer liquid concealer as a rule, so I’d be curious to give these a shot. I’d love to find one strong enough to use as an under eye concealer. (Fat chance of that! I think I’m stuck with the opaque creams.)
Nice to see they’ve started with a decent shade range, too!
Have you tried MUFE Full Cover? I use it for my under eye and it looks great for 10+ hours!
No, I haven’t. I quite liked Bobbi Brown’s corrector/concealer duo, but it’s not quite as travel friendly as I’d prefer. I’ll have to give MUFE a look next time in stores, thank you!
If you decide to try out MUFE, apply it and leave it on for 15 seconds or so before blending it in with a fluffy, 217-like brush and then pat it in. Works like a dream for me!
What about Kat Von D’s tattoo concealer? Those are liquids and are meant to be opaque enough to cover tats!
I rarely buy drugstore makeup but Maybellines new Fit Me concealer is an amazing under eye concealer and half the price.
I just switched from Bobbi Brown creamy Concealer, which after about 10 years sadly was no longer doing the trick, to Laura Mercier secret Concealer which I adore. But I must, must have this one too!! I am a total Nars freak and use the Sheer Glow foundation and the Radiant Tinted moisturiser. Come to Mommy!
Well, they sure uglified the usually stunning Stella Tennant for this ad.
Oh my the eyebrows on the model are just SO wrong
I really like the old Nars concealer, so I have high hopes for this one. One of the best points about the old line was the color selection… very realistic and versatile shades. From the photos, it looks like this one has similarly great shades!
Oh no! Does this mean they’re discontinuing the stick concealer? I’ve always wanted to try that, I’ve swatched it and it really blends in to my skin- nothing else compares. π
This is great. I have the regular stick concealer but its so dryng underneath my eyes. It’s definitely not great for the eyes. I hope this one is.
Cant wait to try this π
I reckon I’ll be tempted to try this after I’m done with the Kat Von D one (if reviews on it are good, of course) – just for the sake of trying something new, because who knows, it might work better than the last. If not, I’ll just go back to what worked before.. I’m excited though!
Hi i really want to try these, i am nc42 what colour would be best for me, to lighten under the eyes?
Canβt wait to try these!
Hey Christine,
I was wondering if you have managed to get your hands on these and if you will be doing a review on them any time soon?
I would love to hear your opinion on them π
Same here. I would love to see swatches and know which shade works best for you as we have the same skin tone.
