Neutral Makeup: More Soft Browns from Warm & Cozy

More Natural Makeup with MAC Warm & Cozy

Here’s another simple look I did with Warm & Cozy. There’s really not much to it! I just wanted something easy, functional, and neutral. I thought about wearing By Candlelight in this look, but MAC’s mineralize products tend to break me out, so I didn’t want to risk it over the holidays. I just went with my new favorite Sugarbomb instead! 🙂

You will need the following…

Directions: Start by applying MAC Nurture shadestick as your eyeshadow base all over the lid with the 249. Using the 239, apply Chamomile eyeshadow on the inner third of the eyelid. Next, apply Expensive Pink eyeshadow on the middle third of the eyelid and lightly blend with the inner corner. Darken the outer third of the lid with Modelette eyeshadow with the 239, gently brushing it into the lower crease. Next, define the crease by applying Mulled Cider eyeshadow with the 226. Lightly tap and brush Modelette eyeshadow directly above the crease to soften. To finish the eyeshadow look, sweep Chamomile eyeshadow as a highlighter on the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying Urban Decay Underground Liner on the lower lash line, and then sweeping lashes with Dior DiorShow Extase mascara.

For cheeks, apply Benefit Sugarbomb powder to the apples of cheeks with the 116.

For lips, apply Warm Me Up lipstick first, and then layer D’Nouveau lipgloss for soft, neutral lips.

Christine! I’m trying to skip these shadows, but you’re making it impossible. I’m heading to mac now. You didn’t give such a great review on these shadows, but they look so pretty and I need neutral shadows. I’m so torn. Lol

Hi Christine! This is such a great look, and Chamomile actually looks like a really nice highlighter, so I’m definitely going to pick it up. I like the addition of Expensive Pink, too.

What a beautiful, soft glow. You look like you are bathed in candlelight. Just from looking at your closed eye, it looks like the lovechild of Expensive Pink and Modelette would be Patina. Since Patina is my favorite MAC shadow, I’ll just have to check out the lippie. I love that you used a plum gloss. Very pretty!!

That is a great natural look for work and school. I saw Sugar Bomb today at Sephora and liked it at first swatch and I will probably pick it up soon. The Diorshow Extrasse mascara looks great on your lashes!

Gorgeous! Also, I’ve never really noticed til now, but it looks like you’ve got an animal print of some sort in parts of your eyes…..weird but cool! lol

Ive never been fun of satin eyeshadows because they usually dont show up that easily unless you pack it on alot

I was wondering Christine if you take time to pack on the color to let it show?

Very pretty Christine! I checked out the collection today and only walked away with the Cuddle and Nurture shadesticks. I believe I have some shades similiar to the shadow colors so I will try my hand at this look:)

Christine, I wanted to ask you before but somehow I forget always… anyway, I wanted to ask you – which camera do you use to take your photos? 🙂 Beside beautiful makeup I must also say that your photos are always perfect! And not only makeup, swatches too 🙂

Thanks!

This is a very pretty look on you! I just came back from checking this collection out. I agree the colors are pretty but not wow. I picked up a color I wasn’t necessarily interesed in but I really love it. That is the Light That Fire! lipglass.

I have to agree that Comfort MSF is very orange. Seeing Sugarbomb in this pic really shows the difference. I will not be picking up any MSF’s.

This pic turned out great btw!!!!

Hi Christine! I know this post is really old, but I just came across it and I absolutely adore this look! Could you please give some MAC dupes for the LE e/s in this look? Thank you so much!!
