Natasha Denona Light-Medium (02) Super Glow Highlighter Review & Swatches
Light-Medium (02)
Natasha Denona Light-Medium (02) Super Glow Highlighter ($38.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a soft peach with warm, yellow undertones and a metallic sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage with an intense, high-shine finish that probably could have been seen from space. The consistency of the powder was soft, smooth, and dense without being stiff or too thick to work with, so the powder applied evenly and blended out with little effort. Sometimes with denser powders, especially ones as metallic and shiny as this one, is that they can read thick and textured on the skin, but this was quite smooth. It didn’t hide texture, but it didn’t seem to add it either, which was most apparent in person as it almost smoothed out the appearance of my skin as light bounced off of my cheekbones. This shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me.

Formula Overview
$38.00/0.35 oz. - $108.57 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be a "super-soft powder" that "mimics skin's natural texture for a slick, seamless finish that won't settle in fine lines" while creating a "multidimensional glow" and "glass-like sheen." The powder has a denser consistency with slight slip and creaminess, but it definitely feels like a powder.
The three shades available had semi-opaque to opaque coverage in a single layer with a strong, metallic sheen and a lot of shine--more reflective and shiny than shimmer in texture, but it was a mega-watt kind of glow. It worked well with standard, tapered highlighting brushes without having to use a light or heavy hand with it. The highlighters applied evenly, blended out easily, and lasted for eight to nine hours on me.

I absolutely have a bajillion highlighters already but this one is tempting me! Must… resist… 😉
I feel like it must say something if you and Shannon both feel the temptation despite having lots of highlighters to choose from!
I have so many, no joke!
I like how you oh-so-casually tossed in that line about it being able to be seen from space. That’s how I like my highlighter! 😀
THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE OMG.
I’m very happy with my current highlighter collection (MUFE ME512, becca opal, smashbox Casey homes highlighter palette, copourpop flexitarian and lunch money to name my favorites) but this is really making me itch, and I havent felt this itch to buy in FOREVER.
Wow! What do you think is making this one catch your eye in particular, Shannon?
Could one say that this falls into the category of “blinding” highlighter? Not that it would stop me from getting it down the road…what is giving me hesitation, however, is just how MANY highlighters I seem to have amassed without realizing it!
Yes, I think you could say blinding! 😉
Looks beautiful! Thanks for your review
Is this permanent or limited edition? Thanks
Hi Leisa,
It says permanent right on the Glossover! 🙂
I’m obsessed!I purchased this shade and Fair. They are both so smooth and gorgeous on the face. The best highlighter formula Natasha Denona has released in my opinion but I do like an intense highlight.
Happy to hear it!
Wow – this does look quite glorious.
It’s so shiny!
Do you think theBalm’s Mary Lou is as blinding as this one?
No.
Hi Christine, I am an NC20-25 with olive undertones. Which shade from Fair or Light-Medium would suit me best, in your opinion?
I think either would work – they look similar on me. Fair runs slightly pinker.
Oh man.. that’s some crazy glow, and I’m loving it. My highlighter hoard is stupid given I seem to only use 4 or 5 favourite products routinely. I’ve been experimenting with brushes lately and I used to use a fan brush, but I’ve switched over to Wayne Goss #14.
Oy I think I need this one.
