Natasha Denona Light (01) All Over Glow Face & Body Shimmer In Powder Review & Swatches
Light (01)
Natasha Denona Light (01) All Over Glow Face & Body Shimmer In Powder ($38.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a light, golden beige with soft, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had opaque color coverage, though the texture was soft and yielding, so it could easily be applied with a lighter hand for sheerer coverage. The finish was glowing without being metallic or overtly shimmery–very “skin-like” and never emphasized my skin’s natural texture. The consistency was smooth, dense without being too firmly pressed in the pan, and easy to work with as the powder applied evenly and blended out effortlessly. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$38.00/0.35 oz. - $108.57 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to give a "glowing and healthy texture to the skin" that can be used on the "face and body." It is designed to be a subtler highlighter, and I think it absolutely delivers on that. If you want a skin-like glow--dewy but not wet or oily--that gives a soft sheen, a bit of lightness, and never emphasizes skin texture, this formula definitely does that. The powder had a very smooth, almost velvety texture that was denser, more firmly-pressed without becoming stiff (but no powderiness either). It applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily. They lasted between eight and nine hours on me before fading noticeably.

Very subtle — I really like these types of highlighters.
Me too! They are underrated / under-appreciated as a type.
I do too!
I love, love, LOVE a good shimmery highlighter and I have plenty that are so shiny they can be seen from space and right to the outer edges of the galactic universe… I have this product and it is NOT that. I love it so much regardless, it’s my go to for effortless days (or as I call them, slap-and-go face days) when I don’t have the time or inclination to layer 3 or 4 different cheek products.
It’s very subtle and amazing and luminous without being shimmery or metallic or shiny and the pan size is huge, which makes it pretty decent value in my book.
It’s brilliant 😉
Such a beautiful highlighter – subtle and sophisticated all at the one time. Love your total look too and the Liev lipstick really looks fabulous on you too.
The finish of this highlighter is lovely. I actually wear that kind of highlighter very often. I also love to use mine as a base for more glittery highlighters.
I have the dupe from the collaboration between EL and Courrege and the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance. Money saved! (but I will keep this one in mind for repurchase)
You’ve interested me in ND’s Face products again. Hmmmm…
