I think the Colourpop On the Daily palette ($12) is a close enough dupe for this 😒. I knew the Camel palette reminded me of another palette I already seen.

Yes! And it looks very warm in the product photo, but incredibly cool in the swatch photos. Like totally different colors.

I got totally burned on the complete lack of pigment in her blush/highlighter duos, not to keen on jumping on any of her other products anytime soon. So disappointing.

Clearly, the makeup world isn’t saying ‘Enough, already!’ I guess now the thing is to vary the finish/texture. (Fine for me. Less to consider.). This should be great for those who love warm neutrals…small, edited palette that’s pretty obvious. Groundbreaking truly must not sell, in the major brands, anyway. They pretend s.t. is new and earth shattering, but it’s the same old, with a couple of colored bones thrown in there to capture our interest. YKwhoIM.

What a boring yawnfest. I mean, seriously though, who doesn’t have these shades in their stash already, unless one is just starting out? And even then, there are better choices! Viseart Cashmere for instance.

I’m completely confused about this palette. It’s called Camel and the shade descriptions include words like “ochre” and “golden” that suggest warm tones, but in the swatches all the colors seem cool? And two of them are literally identical??
I’m tempted to try the ND eyeshadow formula with one of her small palettes and I like a good edited neutral palette, but I’m not paying $48 for 5 shades, two of which are dupes of each other!

I want to like this — I really favor small, tailored palettes anymore, I’d like to try this brand at some point, warm neutrals are my daily wear — but this one feels blah to me. Leans cool, and two shades seem identical. Pass.

My thoughts exactly, and I can imagine it looking beautiful on both your fair skin/red haired face, and my golden tan skin/dark golden blond hair. Our coloring is nothing alike yet this would look nice on both of us.

But…it’s too expensive. I’m not paying $45+ for a 5 pan set. Possibly if ND was at Ulta and I could buy it with points but that’s it. There are too many other full size palettes I’d rather have.

When I first saw this I thought it was another $25 mini. I probably would have purchased because I am curious about the formula and these are shades I’d wear daily.
I’m not $48 curious though. =/

I’m waiting for ND to make a mini take of the Star palette. This looks totally boring. How can you make a five color palette and have two of the colors look identical?

Considering that many other “high-end” brands charge $20 and up for individual eyeshadows (e.g. UD), $48 for a palette of five, full-size, good quality shadows isn’t so horribly high. I’m not saying it’s cheap, but it’s certainly not outrageous either.

I have a few ND 5-pan palettes (two full-size, and the two minis), and her full-size Lila and Sunset palettes. Her shadows apply and blend beautifully, and look as good at the end of the day as they do when freshly applied (Blue Dahlia from her mini Lila palette did fade a bit the first time I wore it, but still looked gorgeous—and the heat and humidity surely didn’t help).

Her palettes have really encouraged me to try colors and color combos I previously wouldn’t have considered. And they create so many terrific eye looks. I have, and rarely use, my UD Naked 2 palette, yet I can see myself getting a lot of use out of the ND Camel palette (and maybe her upcoming All Matte Safari palette….).
