NARS Matte Multiples - Early Launch & How-to Videos

NARS has released four of the new Matte Multiple shades early on their website! (As a bonus, NARS has free shipping on any order until 2/22, and you can use code FEBMINIDUO–$25+ purchase required–for a complimentary mini Orgasm Illuminator & mini Aigle Noir Soft Touch Shadow Pencil.) They also posted three videos featuring the new formula (two are how-tos), for those who’ve been curious about how these can be used.

Edited: SephoraSephora is also selling six of the seven shades online now!

Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Unfortunately, Altai & Vientiane run too warm/yellow to be used for contouring for my skintone… They’re both quite similar in tone to Tuomota, which I have already, so I’m going to pass on those. Anguilla is a pretty, pale, cool-toned pink, and the texture on these is quite lovely, so I may cave and pick that one up.

For anyone interested in seeing these in-person, I found them at Sephora/JCPenney over the weekend.

I just got Altai and Siam in the mail. I’m mixed so far but they’re growing on me. Siam is supposed to be a poppy red but I see a coral undertone. Is it because I have a yellow undertone to my skin or do I not understand what poppy red is? Altai is super soft. Pretty. Christine, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

I’m looking forward to seeing how these perform! NARS blushes usually have a bit too much shimmer/glitter in them for me, so I’m excited to see them branch out into more matte products 🙂

FYI to anyone who is interested in purchasing them– I saw them at Sephora today too (I’m in West Palm Beach, Florida) — so NARS’ website isn’t the only place you can get them early. They had Siam, Anguilla and two others. I bought Anguilla. The four Sephora had in store were all really pretty. (Oooh! I just looked– Sephora.com has six up for sale online. http://www.sephora.com/matte-multiple-P384868?skuId=1577451) Happy shopping! 🙂

These videos are disappointing, to say the least. All I see is the makeup artist’s hand and black fade outs. I never get to see the product on the skin!
