NARS Holiday 2019 Swatches - Cheek Palettes
NARS x Studio 54 Collection is a new, limited edition 2019 holiday collection that features a slew of products, including two cheek trios and one larger, six-pan cheek palette. I’m currently working my way through editing most of NARS’ holiday collection today (likely will have some of the lip products up tomorrow), and there are some of the smaller sets (like the duos) that I haven’t even photographed/swatched yet as the holiday launch is just that large!
NARS has all the two cheek trios available now (most of NARS’ holiday debuted on their site this morning). Hustle debuts (officially on October 5th at department and specialty stores, while Star Scene is an Ulta exclusive. Free Lover is exclusive to Sephora and is already available.
For full details about what else the Studio 54 collection includes, along with specifics on dates and availability, please read our official launch post.

I’m loving Instant Replay from Star Scene, but I definitely love Born To Be Alive and I Need A Man from the Hustle trio for blushes so much more than the other two!
They’re sure keeping you busy! This is an easy pass for me this time. All of these blush shades look so similar, but with varying intensities.
Bingo. Plus, not my color preferences. Glad. He lures me in >80% of the time.
These are pretty tempting, particularly Star Scene. Blushes are my weakness 🙁
Free Lover and Hustle palettes both look like colors I’d like! I brought last years Nars blush palette and I love it. Also I just got the new Hourglass blush palette so me and my blush hoarding self needs to slow down, lol. But these look really pretty!
I’m excited about the lip products. Especially the Never Enough Mini Lipstick Coffret. I know they’re nudes, but they look so pretty!
Wow – that is some Holiday Cheek package! The shades look really good and I think there is something there for everyone. Although for me, personally, I would like Crique, Born to be Alive and Final Cut. I am finding that the last shades in the trios are far too dark for me.
Variations on a theme methinks! These all look nice, but very similar – all very peachy coral pinky.
I don’t need any of them but they sure are nice to look at 🙂
NARS always seems very coral-heavy in their cheek offerings – love coral but feel like it’s too in the pocket sometimes.
Yeah, I would love to see a range of cooler rose, plum and mauve tones, like Sin… the Seven Sins maybe? I could do with some Wrath, LOL;-)
I’ve bought the last few Nars blush palettes, but Free Lover looks too much like the last couple palettes. I think it’ll be a pass for me! Love that sparkly packaging though!
Hi! I just found your page, its incredible! In your swatches above, what’s the difference between the left and right side of the picture? Finger vs..? Thanks!
Hi Aimee!
It depends on the product – here’s the FAQ: https://www.temptalia.com/review-faq/
I didn’t realize Free Lover was exclusive to Sephora. While my general makeup collection is a bit out of control, I have like five blushes. So that palette will probably be coming home with me this holiday season. I rather like their special packaging.
I love the colors in Hustler a lot.
I love all the corals, but I already have so many. However, they do really fit the Studio 54 era. It would have been nice to see a couple late 70s-early 80s orange blushes, though. I will most likely pass on these. If I get one, it would probably be the 6 – pan. It is a true coral/peach blush lover’s palette.
