Very pretty, sufficiently varied, nice. Somebody please remind me where Nabla is located.
Italy! Where some of the nicest shadows are made, I hear.
Thanks, Nancy. Even some of the Zoeva shadows are made in Italy.
Poison I buy, but Garden? Not so much.
Interesting palette, but not for me! I’ll be eagerly waiting for your dupes for Opera and Berry Bite because those are the only shades that caught my eye.
The blue is a bit patchy, but not at all terrible. Everything else look pretty good! This doesn’t say “garden” to me; it’s too neutral-heavy.
I’m convinced that I actually may need this beauty! However. I’m about to go on a super strict low/no-buy in 2019. One where I must restrict my buying more color cosmetics, because my bedroom dresser and sock drawer are legit maxed out. Thing is, I fell in love with this palette while watching Mel Thompson’s review and tutorial of this. That pale lavender shade Adoration makes for a gorgeous, yet soft transforming topper! Majorelle applied to her lid nicer than any swatches would portend, too!
I’m with you on the super strict low/no-buy in 2019. I’m less than $100 away from making VIB Rouge…and that’s a little horrifying! What am I doing??
Nancy, I’m right there with you about a low / no buy 2019. My goal is to become much more discerning with my purchases and to only buy when it’s on sale and to stop buying back ups just because it’s on sale. I’m so in love with my collection but I cannot give it the love it deserves due to the size. A true first world problem. ?
Have you watched Mel’s “Updates! Recent Product Purchases” video? She invluded this palette stating she hadn’t had issues with the blue but others had. She is one of the few Youtubbers I follow, I enjoy her honesty and tutorials. Out of all her recommendations I’ve purchased only one didn’t work.
Nancy, not to play the temptress, it is still 2018. If you love it and it isn’t poverty inducing; Merry Christmas to you.
It’s an interesting choice of name for this palette – I don’t get the ‘poison’ aspect (why?) and as for garden – there are no greens in it at all.
As for the palette itself, it seems to be an electic mix and I am not sure whether I like it or not.
Agree with you! Can’t see relation with the color scheme and name (the packaging??? An eco response thing…I’m just trying to think out fo the box. LOL.)
It’s very pretty but I have dupes for all the shades that call my name. My bank account is thanking me.
For the most part I like it. I don’t get the blue though…to “bright”. I think a darker toned shimmer blue would have been better. I love the cover on the palette. I’d almost buy it just for the packaging. Unfortunately, I need to go on a no-buy for a year or two….?
“Peacock” blue green shimmer with a color shift would have been pretty too….though we’ve all got that in our stashes.
Very pretty!!! That said, a lot of colors here I’m thinking I will be able to dupe, so we’ll see. I don’t have any Nabla, still have one single on my wishlist as I didn’t want to order just one eyeshadow.
I want it to complete my Nabla palette collection and I would definitely use it – it’s neutrals. But do I need it? The other two Nabla palettes have warm mattes too. The blue and purples are nice, but not outstanding. I’m still torn, because I would totally enjoy it (before it ends up in a drawer somewhere) but it’s also kinda disappointing.
