BUXOM Stone Cold Babe Eyeshadow Palette
I like how the Tarte Tarteist Paint Palette Collector’s Set looks and the Smashbox Light It Up L.A. Lights Palette too!
I’m not really interested the shades in that Buxom palette but I hope they add shadow duos like that to their existing line!!
While each of these appear quite nice nothing is really wowing me so far. I have several Tarte palettes and I have good luck with their shadows and blushes, I feel like I have enough of these shades. Maybe I am becoming jaded! LOL.
Oooh, I’m curious how that Tarte Paint Palette set compares to the Paintbox one! And I wonder about mascara that increases lash volume by “2700%” instantly. Sounds like a recipe for spider lashes, but maybe just the thing I need for my skimpy ones. And it’ll be interesting to see how that Smashbox blush palette compares to the Tarte 10 wheel one. And is that a cool toned eye palette I see, from Buxom? Might be nice if you can’t afford Chanel’s version.
I feel like the Too Faced Ulta Christmas palette looks a lot like the colors they have in their peanut butter and jelly palette. I still ordered it anyway! Haha
The Tarte Painters Palette looks awfully gimmicky but there are a few eyeshadow shades that look really want-worthy. And I like how jam-packed with choices the Buxom palette is but so many of those shades are awfully common – nothing there that grabs my eye but for someone looking for a “neutrals/naked” palette, that looks like it would be a great purchase.
My son’s GF is just out of grad school and getting started in her career. She loves makeup, but, currently, doesn’t have the coin to spend on much. That Tarte palette may just be the PERFECT Xmas present for her. I think that is a super nice offering for someone whose stash needs to grow. I’m already excited thinking about getting it for her.
That’s a really sweet idea!
I agree, that’s a really great idea!
So excited to see more holiday sets come out! I can actually plan what I want to get over the next few months! Hopefully I won’t renew my VIB rouge status again haha!
I will be hitting Rouge for first time this year! I am in a weird place between excited and ashamed, haha…
I always say a version of the same thing! “I’m VIB Rouge, and not proud of it.” lol
I like these Ulta sets! I haven’t bought Tarte in years and this set is very tempting. I also like the colors in the Too Faced set. I don’t think I can pull off the BE set, but it looks nice.
Very interested in the big tarte Set. The buxom one Looks Good, too, but Too many colours that I won’t use.
The Tarte Tarteist Paint Palette Collector’s Set is cute. The Buxom palette looks boring even for a neutrals palette. It reminds me of one of Bobbi Brown’s.
Tarte holiday this year is looking amazing so far!
Some really interesting palettes on offer soon. Love the colours in the Buxom eye shadow palette.
Other than the Tarte Paint Palette, the others aren’t exactly wowing me at all. They just look so…done? Like a gazillion times over, so I do not understand these brands pushing all these neutral/naked/nude palettes on us as “holiday” palettes. Whereas the one by Tarte at least has some actual COLOR!
ohh are you going to do a review on the smashbox one?! It looks lovely!
Ulta hates Canada so all of these sets are irrelevant 😛
And you know, I don’t care because it’s too freaking early for me to even be thinking HOLIDAY. I’m still trying to narrow down my key fall wardrobe additions so double 😛
Nordies just opened their first store in Toronto Squeeeeee… so triple 😛
I always feel like that!! The ulta exclusives are always the cutest ones.
The Tarte Tarteist Paint Palette – loving the eye shadow colors but the countour colors probably wouldn’t work for me, maybe I could give that part away.
Tarte is really doing a lot this year!
*yawn*
Either I’m jaded or these companies are getting lazy.
The tarte tarteist paint palette is calling my name ! I asked ultra online if it was made in China and sure enough the reply was yes made in China 🙁 hopefully the quality isn’t terrible I’ll have to wait for reviews on this to decide wether or not it’s a go . Unfortunately being in Hawaii requires me to purchase from Ulta online only and returning is a mother so that won’t be happening lol this thing has to be legit before I make the plunge lol
