- ColourPop Flashback (LE, $6.00).
- Lethal Cosmetics Overdrive (P, $6.00).
Formula Overview
$7.50/0.18 oz. - $41.67 Per Ounce
The formula is described as "highly pigmented," "long-lasting," and having a "radiant finish." Most shades were pigmented and were mostly opaque to opaque, while they could easily be sheered out if desired (for more of a one-and-done kind of look all over the lid). Some shades had more of a satin-to-pearl finish while others had more noticeable sparkle or were more metallic.
The texture was lightweight, like a lightly tacky mousse with some bounce to it. I liked applying these with synthetic brush if I wanted more opaque and precise coverage, as I felt like fingertips sometimes over-applied or did not get quite as even of an application, especially with the darker hues. The brand did note that the "best color payoff" was achieved by using brushes.
These cream eyeshadows were creamy without being particularly wet or overly emollient, so they had a more powder-like application after about 10-15 seconds. They did not have a full-on dry down, so they remained lightly blendable along the edges after they "set." This ensured they felt flexible and never heavy on my lids, though I felt like this resulted in wear time that was solid but not the longest I've come across with a cream eyeshadow. They lasted eight to nine hours on me before fading visibly.

Better than I was expecting! Dazzling Brown and Pearl White look nice and icy for the ridiculously broiling hot temperatures around these parts. Christine, did you hear that over on this side of the Valley in Surprise AZ, it hit 122ยฐF yesterday? ๐ฅต
I didn’t!
Whoa, I heard a few people say in reviews that these wore off really quickly, and werenโt even worth buying for $7.00 because they disappeared within an hour, so it is good to hear they are long wearing. 8.5 hours before fading is very long wearing for a cream eyeshadow!
These are beautiful and they have turned out to be winners for the brand – Champagne Kiss and Dazzling Brown are my favs.
Champagne Kiss looks like it would a really nice brightening wash for light-medium, warm skin tones.
Iโm glad these worked for you but these were terrible for me. I donโt have oily eyelids and they disappeared after an hour! I even tried with a primer.
Oh no!! ๐
Not feeling them, especially Champagne Kiss as it looks pasty, but if it works for others, I’m happy for them!
