For anyone looking for a nice RED eyeshadow, and I do mean pure red, not purple red, slightly orange red, brown based red, no, RED, this is the shadow! Flamepoint is a wonderfully pigmented shade of red! The color is vibrant, as are all of Sugarpills, and a little really does go a loooonnnnggg way. These shadows pack a punch and this one is most definitely no exception.
So I went on a bit of a Sugarpill buying spree/kick and this was apart of said kick, I most definitely do not regret it! I always worry about darker colors on my dark skin (1R13 on Sephora's color IQ scale) but these still pop and look vibrant!
Love this lip liner! It goes on easily and the color is very vibrant. I feel that as a dark skinned woman it helps with those brighter pinks I had no real business buying (Candy Yum Yum for example) and bringing them down to a level that works for my skin and makes the colors more wearable opposed to 'Barbie'. And while there's nothing wrong with Barbie, it's just not appropriate for all occasions.
This was an impulse buy for me, I got a text on my phone from MAC saying it was available and just snatched it up. I'm glad I did. I don't own Ruby Woo so I can't do a comparison, but I do love this color. It's a nice, cool tone red that would work well on a lot of skin tones. I'm not sure if it's the finishing powder that I use or the lipstick itself, but it's very long lasting. The only reason I give it 4.5 starts instead of a perfect 5 is because of the texture. It is very dry so I always wear a lip primer with it (Mac Lip Prime) so it goes on better and doesn't feel so dry on my lips. Other then that I love the stuff.
So this was the first facial primer I had ever bought after watching a young lady on youtube that I adore use it, and I wasn't disappointed. Imagine Johnson and Johnson baby lotion but smoother, lighter, and just wonderful feeling on the skin. It spreads easily and I only use a little bit at a time. I purchased the smaller bottle as Sephora, but will probably be buying the big one when it runs out.
So I was a little skeptical at first as I had never ordered a finish powder before, but I heard that it was good for making makeup set and seem less shiny when you use foundation. Unsure on what brand to get I went to Sephora.com, looked up what the best was, and found this stuff. I found it and was a little worried as it was a white powder and well, I'm a black women. But I got it and I love it! It doesn't leave a white cast on my face and kept my face nice and matte all day long. At the same time I love how smooth and silky it felt against my skin, and a little really does go a looooong way with this stuff. Considering I got the small bottle, this will probably last me awhile.
Really awesome lipstick for a really good price! I picked this up to experiment with pink lipstick for my skin tone (I was and still kinda am clueless) and I like the color a lot. It's not to frosty and not super bright, but it is very springy and I adore it.
I love this base, it makes the colors that I wear pop so much more. The only, only, only issue I have is with ONE tube of the milk that I have that seems like it melted or something (which is weird as it was in a cool place) and applied on my eyes weird, and creased after. The other three or four tubes I have are fine, so I"m thinking it was just this one tube. May happen when the product is expired or maybe if it was in a warm place once, if it's to warm.
I use this product for more of a base then I do an actual eyeshadow. Personally, it's great as a base, but I'm not sure how much I would like it as a shadow. While it is easy to apply it doesn't seem like it would stay or look as great as it could as a stand alone eyeshadow.
I have this thing about plum tone reds, or purple or plum toned anything really, so I had to get this and I most definitely wasn't disappointed. This is a wonderfully rich color and definitely holds up to its title of moisturizing, which is a real plus in my book.
So this is hands down the best mascara that I own, Tate's Lights, Camera, Mascara coming in as a close second. This mascara is one of the best I have ever used. You can feel each eyelash separating and becoming thicker as you apply the mascara. It leaves your eyelashes looking fuller by the time you're done applying no questions asked.
So I will admit, I do wear this shade when I'm having my diva days, but it's in the name so hey, who can blame me? This most definitely what I call a 'hollywood' shade of red. The color is bright compared to Cockney, but that's what makes the two stand apart in the MAC red family. One is more hollywood and the other more sultry, in my opinion. Either way, I'm more then happy to have this in my makeup bag.
I will admit, it is a little dry to the lips to wear, but it goes on smooth, which I can appreciate. It is a hard color to wear though. I'm still attempting to find a lipliner, as I think I've found a gloss, that will help tone down the color just a few shades or make it a little more wearable then it is right now. Because putting it by itself on my skin tone just doesn't work unfortunately, but I'm determined to find a way!
It reminds me of MAC's Girl About Town but a tad bit lighter and a lot more moisturizing. This was my first lipstick purchase from Too Faced so I wasn't sure what to expect, but when I first started to put it on I knew it was a keeper. It just felt so smooth and moisturizing against my lips, I didn't even need a primer (but of course would recommend one to keep from staining). The color stays though out the day and I will most definitely be buying another tube when this one runs out.
I love this shade of red, I bought it because it reminds of of MAC's Cockney shade but this is much more moisturizing. It lasts a super long time and stays vibrant throughout the day, I love love love it. This was the second lip color that I purchased from Too Faced and I will definitely buy more in the future.
So I originally tried this when I got my Naked Palette and I've been hooked ever since. I just recently bought the full tube and although it is pricey I'm 100% ok with that. I love the stuff and will continue to buy it for as long as I wear eyeshadow.
So I've never used any paint pot aside from this, and I've only used this as a makeup base as it shows up a really nice light tan color on my skin, but I love it. This paired with my Urban Decay primer potion and no makeup is coming off of my eyes or creasing for the next 24 hours.
This is one of those lipsticks that I would never wear on it's own, it just doesn't suit my skintone. It's really to light, BUT paired with the right lipgloss this becomes a wonderful shade. I pair it with Nymphette from MAC and a few colors from the Too Faced lipgloss line and it's absolutely wonderful.
Wonderful shade of pink from MAC. It's bright, really fun, and can work on just about any skin tone in my opinion. Not to mention it lasts! I pair it with the Magenta lipliner when I want to make it a tad darker depending on the look I'm going for, but it's still gorgeous.
