Maybelline Molten Topaz Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Molten Topaz
Maybelline Molten Topaz Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter ($9.99 for 0.24 oz.) is a soft, medium-dark gold with warm, brown undertones and a luminous sheen. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable that was delightfully creamy to the touch, but it was still more loosely pressed (without being powdery), which made it particularly easy to apply with a slew of brushes. For subtle coverage, I’d recommend a light hand and a tapered highlighting brush or a fan brush with a moderate hand. It had opaque coverage–not buildable as described, which was really the only downside to the product–that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with little effort. The finish was the most subtle of all of the highlighters I’ve tried in this formula, which some may prefer and others will lament. On me, this shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading slightly.

It’s supposed to have a “chrome effect” that can be applied “lightly for a subtle glow” or built up for a “bold melted metal look.” The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable that was delightfully creamy to the touch, but it was still more loosely pressed (without being powdery), which made it particularly easy to apply with a slew of brushes.
For subtle coverage, I’d recommend a light hand and a tapered highlighting brush or a fan brush with a moderate hand. It had opaque coverage–not buildable as described, which was really the only downside to the product–that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with little effort. The shades typically wore for around eight hours on me.

No, my skin hasn’t changed at all!
This could be a super brilliant bronzing highlight or highlighting bronzer! I’m in love with it having a truer than life JLo glow!
I love that this scored so well but I don’t think this is a good colour for me personally.
I’m definitely picking this up, the subtleness of it and the sheen are right up my alley. And the color seems like it’ll be really nice on me.
