Makeup by Mario Glam Eyeshadow Quads | Swatches
Forthe holiday season, there are three new, limited edition Makeup by Mario Glam Eyeshadow Quads ($25.00 for 0.16 oz.). Below, find swatches of the new quads. Also, unlike the permanent palettes launched by the brand, these were billed as “highly pigmented” full-stop.
Looks as if the shimmers are super pigmented and the mattes are a little underperforming. I like both party and Rosy, but need neither. Good start on quads for Mario though.
Wow – these look really good! I love Bronzey Glam and Party Glam. Those blues are stunning and the silvery blue shade is very similar to the one in Guerlain’s Les Gris, which I have hit pan on in a big way. I like the inclusion of that cool green too. Yep, lots to love here.
These have some more interesting shades in each, which is a good thing for a quad. The quality looks excellent, too. Even though I usually shy away from blue eyeshadow, I kinda like Party Glam!
Bronzy Glam swatches way nicer than the shadows look in the pan. Actually all 3 quads swatch beautifully. I can see what Genevieve likes Party Glam so much – it sure does look like that Guerlain quad from years back and it’s lovely. The blues remind me of some of the best blue/teal shades from UD and that green/gold shade is gorgeous.
I would be crazy to buy any of these but they are so pretty! That blue one is awesome but I would just never touch it.
Not sure why I am attracted to Party Glam as I never wear blue eye shadow but I have to admit, it is very pretty and swatches really well. The temptation is great but really, it would be just to sit and look at it!! I have had people tell me that blues look good on me and I have just never purchased or worn any, since I just don’t care for the colour. I thought about getting it for my daughter for Christmas but I honestly have never seen her wear blue, either. I am glad they are looking like they will review well. A lot of people will snap these up.
