That is killing me too! I want to rush home and pull out my palettes and compare them! I probably will, lol! I did notice the Holiday palette is still up and Vol 1 & 2 . So, hopefully ( knock on wood) we have time to sort through things.

Pearl, pink granite and golden beige are all in the Nudes You Need palette. Golden beige and black purple are in the Colors You Crave palette. Lagoon Blue and Pearl are both in the 15 Artist Shadow Palette.

Melissa Avatar

I went through to compare Artist 1, Artist 2, and Artist 3…
I528 (iridescent pearl in 1 & 3)
ME512 (metallic golden beige in 1, 2 & 3)
ME930 (metallic black purple in 2 & 3)

Then adding in the most recent holiday palette…
D236 (diamond lagoon blue in 3 & holiday)
I528 (iridescent pearl in 3 & holiday)

There’s a few others that overlap between 1, 2, and the holiday palette – but I only listed the overlaps between 3 and the holiday palette above. 🙂

Yes every colour but 2 have been in other palettes. There are, I think 3 colours that have been in 2 palettes also. I was so looking forward to this palette, but not purchasing now.

Carrie Avatar

Wow, the colors in the promo picture look way off! The colors in the actual palette look pretty true to life, but what gives on the ad? This is why I hate buying sight unseen. It can be impossible to know what’s what!

Trish Avatar

The colors are nice, but why are there 2 repeats from Artist Palette Vol 2? I love MUFE, but with 210 shades to choose from, and an understanding that some people would like to collect every palette, you would think they would not duplicate colors, at least for adjacent artist palette releases.

Emily Avatar

Very pretty, but like half of these are repeats from recent palettes. I really hope they have a matte palette in the works- I’d throw my money at that in a heartbeat.

Katherine T. Avatar

Kind of disappointed, looks like a lot of repeats from prior palettes, but if you don’t have any of those, this looks like a good deal. Was hoping MUFE would do some Panetone colors for spring, since they have such a great shadow formula

Karen Avatar

I got this one on Boxing Day, it is very pretty, but am bummed that 4 are repeats. The 5 new ones make this one worth it to me though. One thing to note is that in this palette the eye shadows are 0.05 instead of 0.07 of volumes 1 and 2, also of note is the difference in weight of this palette compared to the previous two, this one being much lighter.

I think it is. It’s in-store @ my local today. Swatched some Burberry (my my hated their raincoats + plaid + it’s fairly new @ my local, so never tried any.). I put on the Oxblood l/s and then put on Ciate Smouldering at home. Immediately channeled you. Talk about reading too much Temptalia!

KJH Avatar

Others are higher on my hit parade, but you make it so easy! I only have 3, being a MUFE newbie, so it’s probably a go. Not in-store yet, but neither are any of the spring things. Where’s the green? Spring means returning green! And foliage for the florals. Just take my future income and send ’em all!

Stephanie Avatar

The two right hand columns really remind me of last year’s Lise Watier Aurora palette. I wouldn’t use the left most column much and I have MUFE 15 for the blues. It’s very pretty for those who already don’t own most of the shades.

Erica Avatar

The MUFE e/s are my favorites, hands down. However MUFE has 210 e/s – too many to have duplicates in these pre made palettes. Pearl, taupe platinum, onyx, celestial earth, golden beige , lagoon blue and my beloved peacock blue should be retired from future palettes, seriously. I already have a few of these in single shadows i.e. lavender, black purple, etc. so I’ll have to pass.

Vicki Avatar

Not sure what we have to do to get them to produce a matte palette. Wish they listened to what everybody keeps asking them for. And with the hundreds of eyeshadows they have, why do they put in repeats in their palettes? I don’t understand this. They would sell more palettes if they didn’t repeat shades.

Marie-Estelle Avatar

I only have the x9 nude palette, passed on the volume 1 because I thought of buying the x15 holiday palette… and MUFE is trolling me because I can’t buy it where I live (you can find it only in 4 shops across France, and I live now in the Netherlands… makes too much travelling for a palette).

I already have 1/3 of the colors so I might pass on this one too (might not have to, if MUFE decides once again to make it impossible for europeans to buy it… anyway!)

I have to admit that I am highly disappointed by the selection… Not because I don’t find the palette pretty but because I don’t see the point to start a serie if it is to constantly adds repeat -I mean… isn’t it the point to buy them all?- . Golden beige is my favorite shadow ever, but I don’t think I want to have it in so many palettes palettes either…

Bonnie Avatar

ARG WHYYYY do they do so many repeats, when they have soooo many shades to choose from??? It’s pretty annoying. I picked up their Holiday palette and honestly a lot of the shades look similar even though there are only 2 technical repeats. Also? Another palette with no matte shades. *sigh* It IS very pretty though.

Tavia Avatar

I have the 30th anniversary palette, 2014’s Artist Shadows, 2015 Holiday, and Artist Palettes 1 and 2. As much as I love MUFE palettes and eyeshadows, the frequent overlap–especially of the ol’ standbys D236 Lagoon Blue and I922 Electric Purple–is making MUFE palette collecting (and MUFE palettes generally) a bit dull. I would think there are enough eye shadows in the MUFE collection to introduce new colors and to freshen up the collections. I hope Artist Palette 4 has surprises.

Fran Avatar

This is pretty, but I already have I918, ME930, I528, ME512. I544, and D236, some in previously released palettes… $44 for three shades is actually not all that bad, but they’re shades I probably wouldn’t use that often — teal eyeshadows don’t look all that good on me, or warm yellows, or orange-y pinks… it’s really funny, though, I love the range so much, and it’s pretty, so I’m still tempted! Silly, silly me!

Bethany Avatar

Alright, I went through all of my artist shadow palettes and this is what I found (I do not have 2014’s holiday palette):

ME-230: Found it in the little mini rectangular artist shadow palette that has 8 shades
D-236: In the 15 pan holiday palette for 2015
S-404: Didn’t find
I-544: In the 9 pan neutral palette and also the Andreja Pejic quad
ME-512: In both 9 pan artist shadow palettes
ME-930: In the bright 9 pan artist shadow palette and also the mini 8 pan palette
I-918: Didn’t find, but I-916 from holiday 2015 palette is close
I-528: In neutral 9 pan palette and 2015 holiday palette
I-804: Didn’t find

So, only 3 that weren’t in other palettes for me and one of them is really similar to another shade from the holiday 2015 palette. I’m bummed 🙁 This is my favorite formula.
