Make Up For Ever D552 Crystalline Gray Beige Artist Shadow
Make Up For Ever D552 Crystalline Gray Beige Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a brightened, pewter-gold with warm undertones and a metallic finish. It’s like a mix of gold, taupe, and gray, and I find it’s very brightening on the lid. The shade is richly pigmented with a soft, almost creamy consistency, that goes on like butter over the skin. It wore well for nine hours on me. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Make Up For Ever ME644 Iced Brown Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a brightened, medium-dark copper brown with warm undertones and a subtle, metallic sheen. It’s very smooth and had excellent color payoff that was easy to work with and blend on the skin. The color wore well for nine and a half hours before starting to crease slightly. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Make Up For Ever I628 Reptile Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a medium-dark, olive green with warm, khaki undertones and a pearly sheen. The texture is ridiculously smooth and soft with a buttery, dense feel. It slides over the skin smoothly with intense pigmentation. It really was a dream to work with, and even better, it lasted for nine and a half hours. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Make Up For Ever ME614 Graphite Brown Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a rich, deepened brown with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. The texture was very soft and dense, and it was just slightly prone to thickening on the skin in the way that almost-cream-like-powders can. The pigmentation was incredible as a little went a long way. The color did last well for almost ten hours, though! See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Make Up For Ever S502 White Sand Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a light, subtly warm-toned beige (there’s an almost gray cast over it) with a satiny sheen. It had good pigmentation with a soft, smooth consistency that wasn’t dense but not really thin either. It felt a lot like a cream-powder hybrid to the touch. The color wore well for eight and a half hours before creasing. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

I love Reptile!
It is a great shade!
I’d wear all of these happily, especially Reptile!!! My MUFE wish list is growing at an alarming rate! I think these FINALLY made their way to Belgium recently as well.
YAYYYYY! Happy to hear they’re coming to Belgium!
OMG, these are gorgeous and all A rated! I love the look you did
Thanks a lot, Katherine 🙂
You made a really nice look with them!
Thank you!
Damn, that’s a lot of Temptalia recommends. 🙂
Haha! These were really good.
Oooh, Reptile looks AWESOME!
It is a great shade!
I bought Reptile upon release and bought Graphite Brown during the November Sephora sale. I absolutely love Reptile! It is everything e/s should be (sigh). I’m looking forward to playing with my Graphite Brown and Crystalline Gray Beige goes on the 2015 Sephora sale list.
Right?? The texture is insane.
You are tempting me today! These and the Colourpop shadows both. Really lovely. How do you get so many reviews up in a day? I can’t even read them let alone imagine writing them!!!
I’ve just been doing this a really long time 🙂
I bought Reptile when it first became available at Sephora. I absolutely love it but that’s hardly surprising since I either have or want to have several of the dupes for this shade (guess I don’t need to go on craving Fume, for example….)
Christine, the dupes links for Reptile aren’t working…when I click them, it say “sorry, no dupes found” but you do have dupes showing on this page in the “glossovers”. New Year’s glitch?
Fixed!
Reptile is even better than Fume 😀
Gray Beige is on my MUFE wish list for next year. The shade is so nice to work with in the tester.
It is such a fun shade 🙂
wow that graphite brown!
I love how smooth it is!
Crystalline Gray Beige is lovely 🙂 Reptile is also really interesting – it swatches out rahter different to how it looks in the pan! The tan/green ‘reptile-y’ part really comes out. Augh! Someday I shall get my hands on a few of these amazing-looking shadows… *plots*
I feel like these more metallic-y shades tend to swatch a bit different than they look in the pan (usually lighter, though).
These are really, really gorgeous colours – especially the gray beige, iced brown and reptile colours. Trust MUFE to bring out the best. What an awesome brand.
I was so impressed by how well these worked together!
Stunning!..One of my goals for this year makeup/skin wise is to start a z palette of these.
Sounds like a good goal to me 😉
Lots of very beautiful shades in this post! Crystalline Gray Beige is my favourite out of the three – such a unique colour!
Love it for inner or middle of the lid application!
Reptile is soo beautiful!!
It is!
All of these Artist Shadows are so lovely, it’s hard to pick just a few to get!
It’s basically impossible, lol!
what a gorgeous combo on your eyes!
Thank you, Jocelyn!
Absolutely gorgeous eye look!gonna try and recreate it, never looks as good as yours. My mufe list is so long maybe i just need to admit i want them all!
I am a little confused as to why these are getting reviewed now. I thought you had already reviewed all the MUFE shades? Are these new shades or are they ones that got over looked? (With 210 shades I can see how that would happen.)
I didn’t review all of them – I posted swatches of all the shades I had, because there’s no way I could actually test and review them in a couple of weeks, but I can put out swatches 🙂
CGB is really as amazing as it looked before. I love it. That’s exactly he kind of shade I like wearing daily. Might be too warm for me but I love it.
These are nice, especially Reptile and Graphite Brown. The Gray Beige would be a beautiful browbone highlighter.
The eye shadows are gorgeous but reptile is stunning .. <3 .. beautiful look dear.. 🙂
…okay, these look AMAZING. I have a couple of shades sitting around waiting to be tested, but they look nothing like these! Crystalline Grey Beige and Graphite Brown are making me all starry-eyed *.*
