Make Up For Ever D320 Golden Khaki Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a rich, olive brown with warm, golden frosted shimmer and yellow-ish undertones. It had a very metallic, shimmery finish. These particular shadows are what I consider the foundation shadows. You can’t go wrong with them. I have the golden amber (662) which I love, so I passed on the cauldron color. Black gold is beautiful. I keep swatching golden khaki and admiring it. I guess I should just take her home with me (lol).

I actually picked up Fir Tree Green and Golden Khaki when I went to Sephora again. I just couldnt resist, the MUFE shadows are amazing.

I wish Sephora carried the whole range at their stores though, so I can see what they actually look like. Or I will just wait for all your reviews πŸ™‚

Sigh, swoon, sigh – Golden Khaki, you are so beautiful. You have some pretty nice looking friends up there but you are the prettiest of this particular bunch!

Oh I definitely need to take a closer look at Golden Khaki and Black Gold!

Little question: did you perhaps upload the wrong look photos for these? The look is more coppery/plummy rather than khaki/teal/brown!

Every shade in this post is amazing! Absolutely what I get attracted to in a lineup! I love Copper colors on your eyes Christine bring out the green in them so well πŸ™‚

Every new post with their eyeshadows leaves me more impressed-they are so beautiful! But I must say all of the numbers are getting to me lol I much prefer names!

That green one! But I think I’ll get Fyrinnae Are You My Mummy instead, just for the name πŸ™‚
I like all of these. MUFE seems to have done just right with their new eyeshadows. I wonder how many of them will be available at “my” Sephora.

These four shadows are absolutely lovely! These are the sort of colors I gravitate to and wear most of the time in the fall and winter. Thanks Christine for swatching them, and with the high grade you rated them with, I think I am going to splurge on them. Nothing has really tickled my fancy as far as collections have gone. I already have so many dupes of new fall collections, but these shadows are so gorgeous, I am going to get them. I don’t have any colors that are similar, and they would be great to use with my fall and winter colors that I use. I am so disappointed with the Vice 3 palette, and these colors appeal to me far more. They look so rich and have such a nice depth that I can’t pass them up.

I got D320 Golden Khaki and ME624 Black Gold on the 4th, based in your swatches of your sneak peek review of ‘MUFE 30 Years 30 Colors 30 Artists Eyeshadow Palette’.
Golden Khaki and Black Gold are spetacular, just two of the most amazing neutral shades I have seen so far.
I’m so glad and now even happier because both of them received “TEMPTALIA RECOMMENDS”.
Greatly thankful to you!

You know your formula is a winner when an A- is your weak link!

I’m definitely interested in a second trio, but I think I’ll wait until you finish reviewing everything you have and go from there. It’s too overwhelming in the boutique!

With fir trees, and cauldrons, this post had me thinking of covens! I think cauldron is probably my favourite of these, but it’s sort of hard to tell how much of that is the colour, and how much is the name, LOL!

Christine, I know you have addressed this in the past but I just can’t remember. I know you are busy but I am just wondering what makes give a product the “Temptalia Recommends” status? I only ask because sometimes shadows have the same grade and only one gets the special status. I am merely curious for my own shopping purposes and really, a 3 word response is enough…..if you have time.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Terri,

It is explained here: http://www.temptalia.com/review-disclosures-policies-and-the-glossover-rating-system (linked in the footer of every page)

It’s basically just products that I REALLY love personally, and it may or may not be tied to how well it rates – I may still give it a recommendation if it says 24 hour wear but wears 12 if I’m otherwise impressed. The reason why not all A or A+ products get it is that it is that I am generally looking for something special – something impressive. Often, the color is lovely but very dupable.

Oh my, these are such pretty fall shades, the fir tree is something a lot of bridal makeup enthusiasts might pick up for the fall Indian weddings!

I have Golden Khaki and I like it a lot, it’s a beautiful shade! But so is Fir Tree Green, wowies, what a beaut! I have Peacock, which is also a stunner, but I might have to get Fir Tree Green as well after seeing this.

I cannot stop using Golden Khaki. It’s such a magnificent shade. Just one of those colors that’s inspiring a ton of looks for me. I really like adding the yellow to it to bring out a more gold tone as well. And it’s now one of my favorite eyeliners as well. Stunning eye looks as always.

Thanks for the review Christine, but since the colors are not matching the reality, can you please tell me if the D320 will fit an Ivory dress? I will be a nice bride with it soon i hope πŸ™‚ Thanks.

So glad you are getting through these. Just bought first trio two weeks ago and loved them so ordered another trio, even with a zillion dupes I have! The texture is really impressive. Want to see your review of 600, 826, 728,i 606,i662 & m636. Thanks again for your great reviews.
