Yup – same here. The colours that caught my eye are almost all shades that I already have with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions (and I can pick those up in pro pans for a small price). Great for people who are just getting into MAC/getting into makeup but for people like most of us here, it’s a bit redundant.

So this one is not for me — I have the few shades I like already — but I’m glad to see a MAC LE release that makes sense in terms of it leveraging and extending their core, i.e., the basics on which they have earned a good reputation.
Progress from a few of their recent ones that felt more like fast fashion art projects and had variable performance.

This looks so lovely ! Unfortunately I think I have too many of these already to consider purchasing . What a great idea for someone just starting out though !

LOL, I saw MAC palette and I was getting excited with how much I want it… Then I see they are all permanent shades… Oh well, I will try to recreate it, with the good thing that I get to replace the shadows I don’t love with shades I like better.

Just ordered this today , I have the Warm palette and the Cool one too and I think this collection of shades will fit nicely in with those for everyday use 🙂

2006 Me is drooling over this– what a perfect palette to give to a younger girl who hasn’t ever used MAC. While I don’t think that the MAC eyeshadow formula is the premier product that it once was, they’re still solid and this is filled with absolute classics. I have every one of these minus Naked Lunch and while I don’t reach for them as often as I used to, I’ve still kept them.

I’m thinking of getting the three I miss from this palette and just recreate the layout as it looks so well thought through.
I really like Terry Barbers work. His Instagram is quite inspiring.
