There is fun in the sun, to be sure, but to the beach is more of a sensual state of mind – a pleasure we all feel near the sea. The girl and boy from Ipanema, from Cap D’Antibes to West Palm Beach…All around the world, the seaside has a romance, and a kind of golden, sexy alchemy we’re all drawn to. This collection encapsulates it, with a new, lapping-wave Lip-Pencil and High-Light Powder in coral shades, Nail Lacquer – A Scorcher! – Eye Shadow, Kohl, and Powder Blush to get away from it all effortlessly. OMG the packaging for this collection is absolutely adorable, its beyond perfect, and I thought the packaging for the Liberty to London collection was perfect, but this is too darn cute. I don’t think I want any of the blushes, didn’t like Hipness when it first came out and Get-Away Bronze doesn’t seem to be my kind of blush. But I will definitely be checking out the eyeshadow, the High-light Powder( really excited for that one)the lipstick and lipglass, soooooooooooo excited for this collection!!!!!

I’m kind of indifferent on this collection. I guess the puke green and bright orange doesn’t really appeal to me 🙁 I bought hipness blush from my CCO and it is totally orange on me! ahh. oh well, i’ll still check it out though!

LoL I love seahorses!!! My whole room is beach themed….from teals, blues and greens to tons of sea shells and real sand from the Atlantic City beach lol I only wish the color of the packaging was different! I do like green and orange but with this theme I think a pretty blue and maybe a neutral to represent the sand may have went over better!

WOW! This is the best packaging I’ve ever seen! I want it all just based on that, haha, but I REALLY want Sweet and Punchy, I am obsessed with green eyeshadow! I’m not loving that peach lipgloss but the other two look very promising. The high-light powder might be nice, too, as long as it’s not too orange on me. I will most likely end up getting things I wouldn’t otherwise based on that wicked packaging…dammit, MAC!

Christine, Maybe you’d know, but I’m wondering how Sweet & Punchy (Bright yellow-green…Veluxe Pearl) will compare to Lucky Green (Frosted midtone lime…Veluxe Pearl). Any thoughts?

I love the seashells and seahorses motifs on the packaging. I know i want the In the Buff nailpolish and Float on By eye kohl because it is turquoise! The Marine Life Multi-Colour highlight powder is gorgeous!

I’ll get the seahorse powder (or two if I actually want to use it, since I don’t think I’d want to touch and ruin it if I just had one, lol), and the rest I’ll have to see in person. The packaging alone doesn’t excite me too much.

As with many summer collections, I don’t see a lot to tempt me here (fair skin/ blue eyes/ black hair- not a really “beachy” combination). Firecracker sounds interesting and I love the Veluxe pearls as a rule. Maybe Marine Life. I have Hipness already and I love it. Might pick up that as a back-up for when mine runs out. Love the packaging.

Okay I think I just kind of died looking at this. I’ve been kind of on this Fellini kick and I really love that 1960’s-1970’s beach vacation in Italy look… I hope these products are good because I want it all!

My wallet will love me for this. I only want one of the eyeshadows (since, Christine correct me if I’m wrong. The light green one looks like its like Rated R, Bitter, Pagan, and all those right?) and I have Humid and Shimmermoss.

I DO want some of the lippies and the seahorse powder. And that’s pretty much it!

Sad, really. Even though the outer packaging leaves something to be desired.

MAC has way too many collections coming out! But this one is worth saving for. These pics make me so happy. The packaging is sooooo amazing. I can’t wait to try Hipness and Lustre Drops.

Also, the model in the hat looks a bit like January Jones, no?

I like the eye colors, but already own similar to most of it. Bronzy skin is not even an ideal I try to fake, so most of this theme goes right over my head. The packaging is adorable though!

What!?!? OMG this is surreal. I still haven’t gotten past the fact that MAC pumps out soo many collections. But thanks to you Christine I can now pick more wisely regarding these collections. You give me the opportunity to figure out what is worthwhile and what is not.

the packaging is great! So cute for summertime. It’s hard to think about summer right now though.
A lot of the colors I like are permanent so I don’t really need to rush to purchase these when they are released.

i am sooo looking forward to this collecton and liberty london collection! i wish mac made all their LE collection in special poackaging! they would make alot more money,. bc more peopole would be it all! im glad they are puting a new bronzer poweder in the LE packaging. bc i already have refined golden and solor rich from style warriors.

The launch is the same day that I have a trip to the Beach with my zoology class and we will classify corals and other species, yes, all day snorkeling!!!!!

My favorite season is Summer so I can’t pass this, I also enjoy going to the beach, corals, sea horses, stars… so this collection is a must for me!!! ♥x♥x♥

I love the fresh green packaging, but I am disapponted that they don’t bring out new warm greens, but a permanent. Also every year there seems to be a yellow-green, but no darker warm greens, not even a repromote.
The best: seahorse powder, pencils and Hipness! + 130.

I don’t know what the Luster Drops are supposed to do (?) but the Cream Bronzer and Bronzing Body Oil sound really good. The other things I’ll just have to take a look at when they finally bring em out.

i think you can mix it with our foundation and it will give you a glow 🙂 but im not 100% sure go look on yourtube there will be loads of vids from when it came out with the style warriors collection 🙂 x

I’m not digging the orange and green package but I do like the starfish, coral, conch, seashells and seahorse. I’m loving those eye and lip pencils too. Can’t wait to see this in person.

The seahorse one is amazing in person. It’s embossed on the product to it actually had a 3-D effect that you can’t see here. And I like the cream bronzer too. Both large products IRL.

Wow, the people at Seaton must not be too happy. This collection is a direct rip off of their logo and color scheme. (www.seaton.com)Why cant MAC be more original, all they do is rip off other designers. Do they think people are stupid? Well we are not.
