Wow, the 90’s muteds and browns are in full swing again! I started getting into makeup in ’91 or ’92 (Ultima II), and then found MAC in ’94 or ’95 – it’s really neat to see the 90’s style cycle back around again!

At first look, none of these shades really appeal to me…Too bad because I like the formula of these liquid lipsticks and would’ve welcomed some new shades.

For some reason this formula doesn’t work for me or for my daughter. I purchased several last year and ended up returning all of them. They split and cracked with any lip movement and that was with applying on my tautly stretched lips. They wore off funny leaving that ugly rim around the inner lip. I loved the colors but just couldn’t tolerate wearing them. I know they work well for others and look really nice but just not me. And like others have said, I am kind of over matte lips. I gave it a good try and my old lips just can’t handle it. My daughter loves matte lips so any that I have that she doesn’t I will give to her. Some I will wear after applying a balm or lip gloss and then her college friends will be the recipients of the rest. There are some lovely colors here, though.

I can’t wait for these shades to hit the stores there’s a few I want like simply smoked and a few dark reefs and plum. Love their formula abs applicator. Can you do swatches pls?
