I’m not sure they really did “re-think pink.” Or they’re re-thinking the idea of pink from when we were kids, but both the consumers and the industry have redefined pink into shades like these already. This could have been any nice-enough pink collection. I think I’d have pushed the pink territories into experimental bright lavenders, corals and neons. They seem nice, and standard colors are fine and what I wear daily, but I’d re-think the re-think lol.
Something tells me that I’m going to be a repeat offender with liking Spill The Tea, as I tend towards those toastier, warmer pinks.
I will probably love Spill The Tea because a warm pink nude with yellow undertones in the Amplified formula i can wear.
They sound lovely! Yes please!
Spill The Tea and Can You Tell look like my kind of colors. I’m looking forward to seeing you review these!
Even if these aren’t edgy as they say they are very wearable, easy to use colours. I don’t really care for matte pinks, but Get the Hint looks nice so it depends on how matte it is. Then there’s a lustreglass, I do tend to like those types and the colour looks pretty, that is Can You Tell, the one I think I’ll really like and want is So You, it’s amplified and that is a formula I do love.
I’m really looking forward to swatches and hopefully reviews.
I love the Amplified Cream finish (it’s my favourite) so I’m quite interested in Lovers Only, Just Wondering, Just Curious and So You. If there was a cooler pinky-nude in that finish, heck, I might even be tempted to try a somewhat “nude” shade.
I like that a lot of these are Lustreglass, I love that formula and have a couple of the shades.
I’m not a fan of anything lighter than midtone in a matte formulation typically. I’m also not a fan of the lustreglass formula. There may be a few shades in amplified creme.. but lipsticks are not a priority. Every time I find myself lusting after a lipstick, I ask myself about the last time I wore one and the answer is.. I cannot even remotely remember.
So You is the one I’m interested in. A mid-tone pink with blue undertones is perfect for me. I guess it’s so me . . . *ouch.*
This may well turn out to be a very interesting collection in wearable pinky shades. Not a wearer of pink lippies myself, but quite a few of the above would suit my daughter in law.
