It’s there? https://www.temptalia.com/product/les-indispensables-3/

In the future, it would be super helpful to let me know any technical issues via email or on the relevant post – it helps me narrow it down more quickly + ensures I’ll see it.

So true, cucumber, watermelon or white tea can be incorporated as an antioxidant / skincare ingredient, not as a scent (which is not so good for skin). I do understand that some purchase products like theses just for the scent… but I personally just wish they got the fragrance out of the original one; I’m not the prime customer for MAX Fix Plus, but I don’t like the trend of adding more and more fragrances in make-up.

I’m so confused by this product. I thought it was not supposed to be a setting spray, and yet the promo says it extends the wear of makeup. I have the original version and, in my experience, it just seems like just fancy water. What I really don’t get is the idea of spraying a scented product directly on the face. But I don’t like any scented products that interfere with my perfume, anyway. Just my opinion, of course.

Setting spray ~does~ extend the wear of makeup. I’m not sure what you’re confused about; could you re-write it in another way?
Fix+ actually has some “off brand” uses, like dampening a brush to foil metallic shadows and loose pigments; toning down an overly-powdery finish; and some people use it as their primer before makeup.
As for the fragrance- the original formula uses cucumber extract as a main ingredient, probably to enhance grip, and I bet that set the stage for other scents.

Huh! Now that is really interesting, Christine. It’s still in the “details” language on the website, but if they’ve removed that wording from the advertising, I wonder…
Gosh, don’t you wish there could be some transparency with these mysteries?

What I’m saying it wasn’t on their website under info/claims/details or whatever they labeled it before – it is a relatively new addition!

You can see the older description on the UK site (also included below): https://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/13825/32212/products/skincare/primers/prep-prime-fix

With the first venture into scented MAC Fix + I was disappointed in how chemically the scents were. I thought I would love coconut but hated it. I did eventually pick up the rose scented one and it is still about half full as I prefer the original scent. In theory I should love several of these but I am doubting that I will. I wonder how the cucumber one varies from the original because that is the scent in the original one. Maybe deeper or stronger? I don’t know, but in any event, I doubt any of these will appeal. Fix + is a daily product for me so I go through them fairly regularly and I have a few around the house. I do like the nice little travel size and if the cucumber one is similar to the regular scent then I might be interested simply for traveling.

The packaging’s cute and I’m sure they smell nice, but I won’t be buying any of them since I avoid fragrance as much as possible in face products. I love MAC but this just smells like another big gimmick…
