MAC Pleasure Bomb Dupes & Comparisons

mac-pleasure-bomb-dupe-list

One shade that I routinely get asked for dupes is MAC Pleasure Bomb! It released in the last year, and it’s ultra matte finish makes it harder to dupe. I’ve pulled three possible dupes from our much longer list (you can check out the full list of dupes over at The Dupe List). I was torn between MAC Girl About Town and All Fired Up (both part of the permanent range), as neither is a perfect dupe (the first is cooler-toned, the latter too warm), but I think if you mix them, you can get really close for anyone looking to stay within MAC’s range.

Know of a dupe? Consider submitting it!

Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I’d make a submission, but since I haven’t tested out Pleasure Bomb in person to see the comparison, I feel like I should just throw out a possible dupe here: Urban Decay Catfight. It has a satin finish, but it can easily be blotted so it’s matte.

Wet n Wild’s “Cherry Picking” is apparently the perfect dupe for it. Plus, at $2 I think it’s a great option to consider.

I don’t remember where I read it, but a possible dupe for PB can be the Mac Lipmix (pro-line) in Fuchsia. What do you think, Christine?

Yay! I missed out on Pleasure Bomb, but am now happy to see that it’s close to my beloved Girl About Town! 🙂 Also, I really love these dupe posts; it makes me happy to find out that a shade I’ve been lemming is either already mine or available in nicer formulas (I Mac’s mattes a lot, but GAT is so much more comfy on the lips!)
