I am interested to hear what you think of these, Christine. I’m intrigued…
I actually reviewed all but once shade (I believe only one is new) already when they first came out 🙂
I have Innocent and Hopelessly Devoted. Wouldn’t recommend Innocent but Hopelessly Devoted is a really pretty one!
Well, their regular lipsticks are only $16 and these are $20, so these better have more product or perform better
Oh, I just found your reviews and swatches. Pass…pigment looks like tinted lip balms, not for $20. I can get drugstore lip pencils that are much better and cheaper
I actually quite liked these! I found them really hydrating, fairly subtle and flattering, and not too tacky or shiny. Spontaneous was my favorite shade on me. I don’t know about them being “bright” or “true” though. They also do disappear pretty quickly. They are more like the huggable lipcolour, but even less pigmented.
Looking at French Kiss and Spontaneous *wistfully*….just may have to go to my local MAC Store haunt!
On second thought, I just looked up last year’s reviews, and maybe only the 2 new shades of French Kiss or Clever , or last year’s Kittenish, will be “try-ons” in store. Don’t know that I would actually buy one though.
I tried Kittenish in store yesterday and fell in love with it. It’s really good product IMO
Good news! I have Teen Dream, kind of ironic, considering how long ago it was since I was a teenager, I really like the colour and formulation a lot. One of my favourites when it comes to bright orange-y lip products.
There are some pretty shades here. I’ve never used them. I hadn’t heard of them whenever they first came out.
these remind me of nars satin lip pencils. i wonder why they decided to go with a blunt tip instead of a sharpened point?
I’m so glad these a finally permanent. These are my fave lip product from Mac. Granted the lightest shade is a wash you out nude but on top of a strong lip colour is lovely. I have all and would really recommend them.
Loved the brownish one from Sharon Ossborne’s collection, got two! Hope French Kiss is similar, is that a new one or has it been reviewed?
I own Teen Dream and I love it! Glad to see they’re permanent 🙂
I have two of these in my cart on maccosmetics.com. I’m going to hold off until I see your reviews!
Revved Up, Teen Dream, & Go For Girlie are mah favs! Revved Up is of my current fav lip shade—that pink-coral mix, LOVE IT. Can’t wait to see your reviews, Christine!
I got Ruby in the Osbourne collection last year and loved it so I picked up Spontaneous. I like that these are balmy and I don’t mind reapplying. I really enjoy these and ordered Kittenish to try out.
Literally yelled “Yaay!!” out loud! So excited! I was JUST wearing my French Kiss the other day wishing I had bought two when it came out with the Sharon Osborne collection. Makeup gods had my back tho lol
What are everyone’s thought on these ? They look fun, but I want to know other people’s experience with this product.
I have Patentpink and French Kiss and I’m really happy with them. I’m NW15 pale, my lips are fairly pigmented and Patentpink looks really nice and opaque enough on me. French Kiss is a tiny bit dark for my skin tone, but the color is really nice! They do not last more than a couple of hours on me (which I don’t mind at all, cause that means I will actually be able to finish them before they go bad 🙂 ), but when they’re applied, they feel really nice on the lips. Kind of a mix between a lipstick, lip balm and a bit of a lip gloss. Definitely worth checking out in the store, if you have a chance.
I found them to wear really comfortably, be quite opaque for light texture and wear quite long (longer than most of my balm-like lip products as chanel, mac lustre lipstick, clinique chubby sticks and others).
