The Face Kits are kind of nice, but I already have a few of the products in each of them.

These face kits look interesting.. both the brown and the plum for me. I’m not so fond of lip product in a compact with powder items though. Still, they are attractive and the perfect no brainer pulled together look. Wonder if the quality is there for the LE eyeshadows. They undoubtedly will be sold out before I pause and wait for a quality evaluation. Snarky comment dat!
Normally having pans of lip product in an otherwise powder palette is a deal breaker for me. But when I saw these in person yesterday, I discovered they have a plastic hinged flip guard over the lipsticks to keep them clean! Now I am back to lusting after the plum palette.
I like the plum face kit but I’ve got Mocha blush and Syrup lipstick so I don’t think I’ll be picking this up. I like the idea though and I’d buy it if I was just starting out with make up.
Eeek I’m all about those palettes and brush sets. I thought i’d skip out on this collection because its not very exciting but tbh you can’t really go wrong with basic colours!
I’m on an extended holiday/birthday mini vacation and I had an extremely good time at Nordstrom’s today. Was able to get my mini haul before the crowds come in this weekend. One of my purchases included the Mac brown face kit because it allowed me to sample a few things collectively from Mac that I didn’t want at its regular size or price. I get to sample the Melba blush (lovely), myth and ravishing lipsticks. Fortunately the eye palette complements my nutmeg colored skin. All that glitters is one of my favorite e/s and I’ll use this duplicate for my travel kit. IMO, the other kits include the minerialized eyeshadows which are below par. Ditto the little brush kits. Nordstrom’s has a lot going on today and you must use your Nordstrom’s card to get the pre anniversary special.
I am actually interested in both face kits surprisingly….I don’t have any of the colors and have been interested in a few of them for a while, and enjoying neutrals lately. Glad I used to work at Nordy’s, and have a credit card, haha.
After reading this post I will definitely go to buy brown colors colors. simple amazing choice of colors.
I do not need the pink lip bag, I do not need the pink lip bag, I do not need the pink lip bag… Trouble is I KNOW I’d wear the hell out of it! I already have similar colours though.
Not feeling I need any of this but I do love the little cover over the lipsticks. One up for that one, MAC!
