MAC Illustrated Bags by Anja Kroencke and Indie 184 for Summer 2013

M·A·C celebrates the anniversary of its limited-edition Illustrator Bags with new designs by two massive talents. Each artist draws on creativity with stunning originality, transforming M·A·C makeup bags into mini-masterpieces. Award-winning illustrator Anja Kroencke presents her imaginative vision through black and white line drawings of elegant feminine faces with elaborate wavy hair. New York City graffiti artist and modern Renaissance woman Indie 184 has tagged the bags with her vibrant graphic street style. Lined interiors in complementing patterns, top zipper closure and a looped-end handle. Bag lovers, enhance your collections.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Those bags by Anja Kroencke are awesome. I’m a sucker for a cool illustration on a bag — I got the Julie Verhoeven one last year (?) and I use it all the time.

OMG, the last thing I need is a makeup bag – I use an indestructible LeSportsac makeup bag in my handbag, and I have a gazillion makeup bags that have accumulated from GWP’s. But I might still pull the trigger on those graffiti ones, LOL.

I’m sorry if that’s not appropriate Christine, it’s just I can’t help it! That first one with the bubble letters… they look like a buncha booties!

I didn´t see it until it was pointed out and I actually scrolled to see the image again, all of you are so careful with details lol 😛 .

François Berthoud’s modern graphic sensibility transforms this small makeup bag with floral images and bold colour blocks. Features zip closure, looped handle and all the space you need to hold your M•A•C essentials. Limited edition.

175mm x 45mm x 105mm

I must be super immature, or because the letters are bubbled really weirdly, but when when i saw the first makeup back you had featured, all I could think was, “Wow that’s a lot of colourful butts!” XDD;
