We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! The MAC pro store at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu already has the collection available. They were doing makeovers with these items and those from Temperature Rising at the Temperature Rising event, which was replete w/well-muscled & bronzed Australian male models in booty shorts doing synchronized exercise routines.

Hey – someone from Oahu (attended middle and high school there)!
Here in CA it is available for pre-sale. I was able to have them do my cheeks for me.
I really like the Simmer mineralized blush as it lasted on me four about 5-6 hours during which I was active (even worked out for an hour).
Now – I just have to wait until July before I can pick-it up from the store.

Yes, Lisa, it was quite awesome. I took a video of me posing with the models, meaning it to be my first Instagram video but alas! It would not load!

I am jealous of everyone whose skin does not react badly to Mineralize, like mine does. Pretty collection, but I can’t partake.

Is that Brazilian model Izabel Goulart on the add? I know it’s probably silly because she has already been the face of even bigger, iconic luxury brands but I can’t help it find it something special that she’s the face of this campaign. Maybe it’s because I don’t recognize a lot of mac’s models except of course the ones that are the collection’s theme.

I recognized her too! She’s like the even manlier faced twin of Alessandra Ambrosio. Her coloring and lips fit this collection but not her features :/

I’m interested in Adored, Fever Isle, Lust, Midnight Mambo, Rio, Simmer, and the 159 brush. Looking forward to your reviews and swatches, Christine. 🙂

To my wallet’s relief, there is nothing in this collection that I even remotely want, with the possible exception of the 287 duo fibre shadow brush.

wtf is up with MAC making all the best purple lippies LE?? first Heroine and now Midnight Mambo looks amazing too. :((( Violetta has too much shimmer for me to totally love. lies down on floor, cries.

ah but beyond that, this whole collection is so up my alley and i’m maaaad as heck i can’t justify buying any of it.

I just ordered Adored, Rio and of course Heroine. I’m very interested in the Cha Cha Cha eyeshadow and some blushes! Can’t wait to see your reviews and swatches, Christine! 🙂

I only got Adored online. Originally I was looking more forward to this collection but over all after seeing the products I wasn’t that excited. Hopefully Adored won’t turn orange on me like Light Year did. lol

I am considering the Ablaze lip pencil because everything Ablaze was sold out by the time I decided I wanted it.
How are MAC lip pencils with regard to staying power? I am usually a MUFE girl when it comes to liners.

Well, I’ll be interested in seeing what the skinfinishes look like, but other than that, the things I’m interested in are permanent.

I got Narcissus, a Heroine backup and Midnight Mambo. I’m excited to try a purple lip…I’m totally a Mac Bubblegum/Posh It Up Plushglass girl regularly! 🙂

I like the brown lipstick and lip pencil. The marbled eyeshadows and blushes have to be tried in person to get any idea of how tthey will look. Even looking at a picture of a lipstick can be dieceiving. And the pictures on MAC’s website are notoriously horrible. I did order the Sheer Seduction lipstick from Nordstrom’s after seeing it swatched here, and I love it! Perfect shimmery, orangey brown for summer! They are now out of everything from that collection too. I may have to bite the bullet and order from MAC sight unseen, I’m just a fixture at the post office!

Do they really want a repeat of Heavenly Creatures? I’m sure people bought them because they ARE beautiful to look at but they were rated as, well, crap. I remember thinking I was going to pre-order a whole lot of them and then Christine’s reviews came out and woaaah. Didn’t purchase a thing! I’m verrrrry skeptical about this collection.

It is hard to tell from the gel lighting in the MAC photo how the pigments actually look on skin. The picture is very misleading. I love creamsheen gloses, but as a MUA it is getting harder and harder to afford them at such whopping prices! That’s why I switched to ELF studio glosses, they wear just as well and are much cheaper.

No, I really don´t see the big fuzz about this collection. I don´t think I will purchase anything but at least it will safe me some money 😉

I may get the 159 and a lip product ( if it looks like something ill wear) I bought a msf last year and I really regret it. I guess I don’t have the skin/skin type for that because whenever I use it I look terrible within a while. I pretty much use it on my friend who has flawless skin whenever she wants me to do her makeup.

I’m always tempted by Mineralize Skinfnishes…..even though I might not end up buying any, I still get excited everytime MAC includes some in a collection :)!

Hi there. This collection just got released in Dubai. Sadly only 3 out of the lipliners and 4 out of the 5 lipsticks are released!!!! Why MAC why? We too love MAC. My room looks like MAC studio. There are a lot of MACaholics in Dubai… And why no PRO store here? Not fair MAC. Our sweet Christine, please convey this message to MAC. Love u <3
