I bought the Nordstrom Finest palette last year and I love it. I felt it was better than the two naturals palettes in terms of shade range and formula.

Just checked the Nordstrom finest review and swatch. The pigmentation of the black shadow is really upsetting. Totally pulled me off from thinking about the palette.
Please do a review on the pastel one.

Every palette excluding the pastels has a smattering of shadows from the permanent collection and previous LE collections I already have in stash. I’m far less inclined to buy.

I did notice that you indicated this palette as being the same as Nordstrom’s Finest. I just have Nordstrom Now on my brain which is, of course, a totally different palette.

I like these little 9x palettes. I hope the Dusky Rose gets a good review, I missed getting Macnificent palette so now I’m intrigued!

OMG I only own 3 mac single eyeshadows and a pallete. I think Mellon Moderns has everything a need for a perfeft eyelook. I’ll definitely get it .

With the price drop in the 15 pan palette, I would buy these in a heart beat if the shadows were removable. Has anyone had any luck depotting these?

If you’re looking on the MAC site, all the premade palettes are cheaper now. I have the x15 warm and cool palettes and am kinda pissed that they are now $85 when I bought them for $99. I think it’s awesome that MAC has lowered the price, but it’s not because they’re on clearance so I feel a little gyped at that.

I just purchased the MAC Nordstrom Now palette on the Nordstrom website for $70.85 and got 3 MAC samples! I had to search under MAC Eyeshadow Palettes and it came up. Quantities are limited and it’s not available for pickup at store. I was told this palette is not being restocked but not 100% sure.

I like the Dusky Rose. But, Mac shadows seem like they perform inconsistently. Well, actually I like them all..of course. But, I’m not real confident on the pastels sadly. 🙁

The pastel palette is probably the most interesting because not many brands have done these colours well. The other two palettes are still quite full of warm toned neutrals. I shall await the reviews.

I’m glad I was curious about the colors in the Dusky Rose palette and that it wasn’t for sale yet, otherwise I probably would have snapped it up without realizing I already own the dupe. I had to go out and grab the Flamingo Park one though, once I realized the price went down on that one as well.

? I’m really confused. So Nordstrom finest is the same as Mellow Moderns that Mac is now selling. On nordstroms sight there is “Nordstroms Now” palette. None of these match the x15 palette I bought from Nordstroms the beginning of last year. Does anyone know the one I’m talking about? I have the Mac warm neutral palette also. Looks like if I buy nordstrom now and mellow modern I would have like every best selling well known neutral Mac has. Anyone want to clarify this?!

Nordstrom Now and Mellow Modern are different. Nordstrom’s Finest is the same as Mellow Modern based off of the shade names. MAC has a Warm Neutral and Cool Neutral that is available at Nordstrom (as well as other retailers). MAC also launched Gravitas, which was a LE palette (gray packaging) and Nordstrom also had Nordstrom Naturals (no longer available). I think that is all the pre-made 15-pan palettes to-date.

Anytime there is one of these big palletes, I look for Carbon. It’s always there. I always hope it’s Typographic instead and it never is.

I love the price reductions in these palettes. I’m glad I waited on getting Nordstrom’s Finest when it was $85 because now its $62! I snagged the MACnificent Me palette when it went on sale over the holidays at the $32 price point. I just wish the pre-made 15-pan palettes were depottable so I could rearrange some singles I already have.
