Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Thanks for the heads up, B! Very cool if we can pre-order. I was thinking about putting in an order, but if that’s the estimated ship date, then I don’t need to!

The packaging is more costly (at least that’s what they tell us, I imagine it is, since it has the embellishments and it’s not plastic), especially since they don’t make this packaging on a grand scale. MAC’s other products come in black plastic vs. this kind.

Holy cow! Everything is a lot more expensive in this line. I’d like to get a mystery powder, but its $54. Yikes. This is either incredibly amazing powder, or expensive packaging. Anyone know which it is?

The packaging is different – more expensive to produce, at least from what I can tell. The mystery powder is $45, but you do get a refill with it, so you’re getting two powders in one compact, which makes it a bit more reasonable!

I didn’t even know this eisted but looks very interesting. Wonder if they’ll recycle the packaging like the other MAC products?

On a separate note, christine, do you work for MAC? or do you just check their site very regularly?? Great job on this site. We have very similar tastes. I do makeup the same way as you!! Love the tutorials. They are so detailed. I don’t know how you find the time!! If you ever wanna work as a makeup artist, give me a call, could always use the help!!

PS, I know why I haven’t seen them, they aren’t on the macpro site!!

Hey hun! I’m sure they’ll recycle it!

I do not work for MAC. If I did, I wouldn’t be able to run this blog as I do (employment agreements bar sharing information in advance!), which would be awful!

Thanks for the offer 🙂 I’m far better at applying makeup to ME than others, LOL.
