MAC Cosmetics - Halloween Mask Attempt
Well, I tried! If I were to attempt it again, I would start off by actually looking at the face chart rather than going by a day-old memory. This type of makeup is not my forte, but it was fun to try. I spent about 10-15 minutes doing this one – I’m sure more time (and a steadier hand!) would make it many times better. I played with one image in Photoshop because my creativity is far better in digital form, but I still included the real-deal version, too 🙂 I hope you all try at least one Halloween mask (pst, and enter our contest!), because if I can try, so can you!!
Photoshopped (duh!)
Un-Photoshopped!
What products did you use? That looks great! 🙂
Oh, goodness, let me think… Silver Fog pigment, Carbon eyeshadow, Immodest lipstick, and cheap black liquid liner I found lying around.
OMG Christine, that is so amazing!! Wow, you’re so good, lol…looks great, I love how your lips pop bright pink! 😀
Thank you, Noel!! I wasn’t too happy with it, but I’m flatered you liked it!
goodness … is that pigment all over your face? with the 182?
No, I used a bit of face lotion and mixed in Silver Fog pigment and applied with my hands.
I would like to be able to do an amazing makeup like yours for Halloween! Unfortunately, I have two left hands 🙁
You can! Trust me, I have two left hands when it comes to this type of makeup!!
You did a good job, What did you use?
Thank you! I used Silver Fog pigment, Carbon eyeshadow, Immodest lipstick, and cheap black liquid liner I found lying around.
SUPER COOL!
Please tell me that you went to Safeway and bought some bananas with that on. That would be TRULY AWESOME.
Thanks, hun! I wasn’t impressed with it, but I guess that’s what happens when you work from a shoddy MEMORY, lol.
No way! I took it off as soon as the pictures were snapped 😉
I have to say though once again that Immodest looks great on you when it’s very matte. It’s a very flirty pink that’s not too Wet n’ Wild.
That’s the Silver Fog from Smoke Signals, right? I still haven’t opened mine! I have NO IDEA what to do with it; it’s very intimidating to me.
Thanks! It’s quite bright for me, though. I feel odd wearing it!
Yep, that’s where it’s from (though I believe it’s part of the PRO line, too). I just mixed it with some face lotion and voila, I’m the tin man.
Lovely halloween face chart christine!! you have skills!! :-O
Aww, thanks Virginia!!
You look as if you need to be on a runway or a high fashion shoot. You did a really wonderful job. I love you eyes in this photo. ****KUDOS***
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Wow, thanks Yvette!! That is so sweet 😀
