MAC Cosmetics Colour Ready Collection Information & Photos

MAC Cosmetics Colour Ready Collection

Launch Date: April 2, 2009 (North America), April 2009 (International)

Seeking alternative energy, increased mileage from makeup… Colour Ready revs up the Prep + Prime idea, a true hybrid formula between science and beauty. New Transparent Finishing Powder and Line Filler are our lightest yet, in fact invisible when applied, but their silky colourless polymers set and stabilize makeup instantly. The only way to start when you sit down in front of the mirror. Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone is your stay-put fit on skin that minimizes the appearance of pores without clogging, and visibly diminishes them over time. Two Lipsticks, Eye Shadows, Penultimate Eye Liner and Eye Brows in an essential palette are a habit to happily acquire – Colour Ready is as basic as your 4-inch heel Louboutins.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! the original show orchid was a frost, and impassioned is an amplified. everything in this collection except for the prep+prime products are repromotes.

Emma, I have Bitter and its a really amazing green color! I love it 🙂 I am sure anyone who doesnt have it already will go totally nuts for it.

I’m actually excited about this collection we saw it at update a few days ago and you the prep and prime stuff is AMMMAZZZZZZZZZZZING. The model our trainer used was in her 40s and was complaining about lines and pores and wow.. an amaaazing difference. all of this stuff contains ingrediants to make a blurring affect. Everyone should at least have a mac artist use this on them to see how awesome the change is.

I was going to call for an appt next week – I’ll have to check out the prep and prime (yeah, well 40+), and I want that eyeshadow. I guess I’ll have to wait if it’s not in yet, or just make another appt.

Yes I saw that – at first I wasn’t thinking and thought – Great – I’m going next week – then I realized it not until April – oh well – it will just be an excuse to go again later!

Does this mean that Show Orchid is going to be available without calling the PRO stores? If so, that’d be cool. I actually just picked up Impassioned today and I really love it. I wonder how it’d look if I combined the two?

i’ll probably only get my hands on the finishing powder… which is good, since my wallet needs a break after all the other collections that came out.
