Noticing a lot of pale pink eyeshadows coming out lately, especially from MAC! Need to decide which one from them to pick up from these new collections, with the help of Christine of course! Also those face powders are a MUST! And blue lip tint?? Sounds interesting! Can’t wait to see your reviews!
I really want to like this release because I’m allll about the macaron/cupcake trend, but the color palette just looks like a big bruise to me. A lot of rusty red, blackened plum and yellow-green for what should be a yummy, fresh spring/summer release…Maybe it’ll be better in person!
I love the creme sheen!!
Totally agree. Pass on all of it.
That Pink Buttercream Pearlmatte Face powder looks so beautiful! Cannot wait for your reviews!
Super cute! Love it!
ditto!
Lavender Whip!
YES! RIGHT!
Well, that´s not my cup of… make up, if you will. Or to put it nicely: at least I will save some money 😉
The powders are so cute! :>
I cannot decide whether I think this is amazing or tacky. But then that’s MAC for you!
Great, now I want makeup AND cupcakes. Thanks mac.
I’m definitely getting lavender whip and the beautiful powders!
OH LAWDDD! LAVENDER WHIPPPPPP!!!!!! YES!!! I have got to get at least 2 of those!
ditto!! i’ve been waiting for it to come back out!
Pretty but I’ll pass
I love the color scheme here
Those pearlmattes! *drools* Let’s hope they make enough, I’m sure they’ll be extremely popular!
Meh. Standard MAC spring/summer collection – a lot of pastel and bubblegum pink. I will be skipping this.
I feel like I’ve seen those lipsticks many times before. But the collection looks pretty nice. Especially those face powders!
Mmmm… not impressed.
Hello ladies (and gentlemen),
I’m only just becoming familiar with the many collections MAC comes out with every year, and I understand some products get repromoted. I know Lavender Whip is one of them, but are there any others here?
Thank you! ;_; orz
This reminds me so much of the sugarsweet collection mac did at this exact time in 2009. Even the promo images are almost identical. That collection eith the irems and the concept was so much better than this.
Completely agree! They just seem to recycle colors and collections.
Do you know what time (on average) mac collections release online? hopefully I’ll be able to grab some things online 🙂 if not then in store will have to do!
It is all over the place, truly. From 3AM to midnight to 5PM.
Well, the blue lip balm is exciting! I have a thing for blue tinted lip products, lol. Quick question…when will the info. for “Temperature Rising” be up? Thank you! xx
i. want. it. all.
Lavender Whip? WIN! So upset I didn’t get this this first time around! Lavender Whip, Pink Friday and Bunny Pink are the lipsticks I regret missing the most. Glad I can own one of them!
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee omg i want instant lemming
The legendary Lavender Whip! Oh my! Exciting!
Goodness. More of the same. And for crying out loud where are the MSFs?? Pass. I wonder if this collection covers the entire Summer and if so, where is the pretty packaging?
Oh..MAC has brought something out…good….I was getting a withdrawl from not seeing anything new from MAC in a long time.
lol
They’re really cute, but prolly not on my face. Am passing. 🙂
OMG In For A Treat is soooooooooo cuuuute, this maybe my first ever face powder from MAC.
Maybe it’s just me.. but from looking at the pictures Devil’s Food already looks like the “Oh, Oh, Oh” Lipstick I bought from the Archie’s Girls collection.. So I’m passing on that. I love the rest of the lipstick (you can never have too many pinks!) Wish their were blushes to go with this collection.. 🙁
I see a few things that I think I want. Thankfully I have a 20% off shopping pass that is good for two consecutive days of my choice through the end of April, I think it is, and cosmetics are included!
Lavender Whip! Whoo! I’ll pick up a back up of the one I have… But that’s it LOL.
baking seems to be the makeup thing, but I found this kind of boring. Think I’ll stick the recent Etude House sweet recipe collection.
Is that just an overspray on the face powders or is it the color all the way to the pan?
Assuming its not an overspray on the beauty powders I’ll be first in line! I love so many of these colors, I look good in girly pinks and violets so I’m really excited. I’m also interested in the brushes. I’m still new to makeup and I like “pretty” stuff. I’d rather buy limited edition brushes in cute colors even if I have to wait to fill out my collection. Well, assuming they’re not more (or much more expensive).
Oh my those face powders and paint pots look gorgeous!!
That rose powder is quite cute! I’ve been trying to get my hands on lets skate, but it’s out of stock at the moment. But well, I’m still on a no-buy anyway.. but I can dream about it!
I’m not one to go after Limited Edition items and such. But this is sooo adorable!!
cute
I know I’m getting both Pearlmatte Face Powders. Just a note that the white a leaf colours (green and purple) are an overspray. 😉
Now that I know that Pure Decoration and Raspberry Swirl are Cremesheen formula I might pick one up.
I think they could have done a lot more with this theme! Think special edition packaging, a variety of colours (not just pastels)and so much more! These look boring, especially the pattern on the pearlmates looks like a decoration that would be used on a cake…in the 70s! If only they had tried a little more, these would be so much better and would definitely sell like hotcakes! 😉
I think these beauty powders look nice, but are just a lil bit flat… like their pretty overspray has been swept away already.
All the pastel lippies prolly look stark on my warm/light-medium skintone, still I’d like to try on that Lavender Whip and Pure Deco (and maybe Raspberry Swirl just because of its name).
Im not quite sure if I’m feeling positive or negative about this collection.. definitely need your reviews for the judgement !
Thx for th info <3
the flower choices seem a little odd. They don’t scream CUPCAKE. They scream Christmas.
I agree but still think they are pretty.
its actually spring cake decor 🙂
I can’t wait to see what you have to say about the face powders! They are top on my list..as long as the colors actually show up and are all the way through the pan! I hope you’ll get reviews/swatches before the online release! They sell out so fast :/
I´m loving the french reference with the macarons however I don´t really like this colors. Though I´m curious about the face powders.
Love the ads/promo pics but the shades in this collection just do not appeal to me…Too pale. Reminds me of the ‘Quite Cute collection.’ It’s hard to wear these shades if you’re tan and have yellow in your skintone.
The idea is cute and I love the promo picture but this these lipsticks look like typical MAC spring collection colors. I bet none of these will look nice on my pigmented lips besides that dark one. Pass
I’m curious about the mineralize balm never tried that.. and the pink lipstick looks petty
Might seem like a strange question . . . is mooncake close to a NW 45 tone? I want a shadow that is NW45 to contour with. Thanks,
I can’t wait for this lovely collection to release. I so love the designs and the cakes look so wow. I love temptalia lol!
What is the release date?
Okay so not happy with the lipsticks all four are definitely only good for light skin tones =\ but the face powders look so pretty, probably will get one and maybe one of the paint pots. Of course with Christine’s blessing first 🙂
Been there, done that. I’ll pass on this collection.
WTH!!!!! the collection wasn’t released today like we are were expecting!!!! they released the hailey williams collection!!!!
WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO RELEASE THE BAKING BEAUTIES?????
This released yesterday!
LAVENDER WHIP!!
some decorated packaging would have been nice.. but overall it ok
Disappointed they could have really put out great eyeshadows baking beauty to me is face powders eyeshadows blushes and unique lipsticks disappointed :/
Christine, I’m a bit confused about the Lustre drops as they are not permanently on the UK MAC website or at counters. Does this mean they are permanent but only on pro? x
