L'Oreal Now You Sea Me Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches

L’Oreal Now You Sea Me Nail Lacquer ($5.99 for 0.39 fl. oz.) is a muted, aqua blue cream. Estee Lauder Teal Topaz is much darker, more of a teal. Dior St. Tropez is brighter. Cult Nails Manipulative is less blue, lighter. China Glaze Sea Spray is bluer, lighter. Zoya Wednsday is warmer, greener. See comparison swatches.

I’ve been really impressed with L’Oreals new Colour Riche lacquer formula, but Now You Sea Me was disappointing–it was very streaky, and I wasn’t able to cover all of the streakiness with a thicker second coat. It seemed like it would be opaque in two coats, if it weren’t for the streaks that still were visible. It dried down to a slightly glossy finish, and the drying time was about average. The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, so I was surprised to find it difficult to apply. I normally get a week of wear with L’Oreal’s lacquer.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Do you find that these L’Oreal nail polishes dry quite a few shades darker? I have bought a few and was always disappointed in the color once they dry!
