Orange with Pink & Silver Sparkle
About this Look
I wanted to use a color in the Jouer Skinny Dip Palette. I ended up choosing Bikini, probably the weakest of the shades in this palette, but found even the weakest shade in this palette to be still so lovely. What a great palette!
Step-by-Step Guide
For this eyelook I started with Viseart's Warm Matte palette. I put #6 as the transition, #8 into crease, and #11 into outer V. (#8 is a vibrant orange that just takes my breath away everytime I use it. These mattes are seriously so, so good.) I used concealer on the lid for a partial cut crease, and topped with Bikini from the Jouer Skinny Dip palette. I did a winged black liner, and topped with Urban Decay glitter liner in Midnight Cowboy. I used NARS Impudique on cheeks, and Jouer Skinny Dip highlighter for browbone and cheekbone highlight. I originally started the day with Huda Liquid Matte Lipstick in Icon (LOVE) but by the time this photo was taken at the end of my work day, I had fallen back to my new obsession, which is Buxom's Plumpline in Restricted (this is MY color!) topped with BareMinerals Gloss in Heartbreaker.

Tammy, I would never have thought to pair a silvery shade with an orange shade. In my mind I think of orange as warm and silver as cool and would be fearful of putting the two together. However, I see that it worked beautifully. It looks great on you. I am a self professed lipstick junky and really notice lipstick almost immediately and this one is really pretty. Your whole look is tied together so nicely.
Deb, Restricted really is a lovely lip color, I agree. When it comes to eyeshadow, it seems that doing the unexpected yields the best (and sometimes worst) results.
Stunning as always, Tammy!
Beautifully brightens your whole face. Really pretty look, Tammy!
