Orange & Grey, Backwards
About this Look
I love shades of orange and grey together, and I often like to complement an orange or coral lip with grey eyeshadow. But since grey shades of lipstick are in vogue at the moment, I figured I’d try reversing the equation.
Step-by-Step Guide
Limited products can be replaced with:
White Rabbit- Crystal Avalanche (I used both, but there's no need to, because WR is just a touch cooler)
Melt My Heart- Electra
Silverthorn- Idol Eyes (this one's a little hard to match- a slightly lavender-tinged purple)
Unbasic White- Dazzlelight (less yellow, less frosted) or Nylon (more yellow, more frosted)
Tweet Me- Melon pigment
Hot Hot Hot- Red Brick (not a great match- it's a bright match orange that leans a bit coral)
Bite of an Apple- Becca Snapdragon (softer)
Clearly, the idea here was to do the orange up top and the grey on the lips, but adding a bit of silver to the eye avoided any potential problems with puffy-looking lids. Sorry so many of these products are limited!

I love how your shadow looks. MAC shadows have always been my favorite. I have light bluish, gray eyes. Since back in 08 when I tried firespot (le) from MAC I have been hooked on oranges and peachy colors. They make my eyes pop. Really love your application its very unique. Would love to see some more ideas on shadows that pop on pale eyes.Looks gorgeous and thanks for posting. 🙂
Thank you so much! And thank you for inspiring me to try out some more colourful looks 😉
