Natasha Denona Glam "Gray" Eye Look
About this Look
This day or evening look (depending on your style) was the fastest cohesive look I’ve achieved with a palette! 10-15 minutes for me! And I followed the names as were indicated (though problematic for reasons widely discussed) . This look was made with primarily with the right, lower most “quad” that I’ll call the “gray squad” of the palette (though “brow bone” is warm and “inner corner is ever so warm). A palette that I’m looking forward to creating lots of subtle, not too colorful yet eye catching looks!
Step-by-Step Guide
I applied a light coat of eye primer then I applied a base color:
- "Blend" (326CM) to my entire eye except brow bone area
Then I followed the right, lower most "quad" that appear gray as indicated by name:
- "Center eye lid" (329M)
- "Outer eye lid" (333M)
- "Inner corner" (328M)
Then I blended "Outer eye lid" out with:
- "Transition" (324CM), which is much darker than shown in the pan on me (almost twice as dark and more gray).
I finished with:
- "Brow bone" (334M)
I know think I'll use this palette quite a bit, as any palette that allows me to create and blend a look in under 15 minutes without much thought works for me during the work week! Hope you'll have speedy results too! (After a few looks as the names indicate, I'll go it on my own since I tend to prefer being creative, but first, I want to test it out as designed.
