Lipstick Diaries: Nars' Anna
About this Look
I had the idea of using a blue cream base and layering a purple pigment over top and the whole look just came from that!
Step-by-Step Guide
The steps I used for this (much more dramatic than I usually do) look are:
- Cover the lid from lashline to crease in Nyx's jumbo pencil in Peacock
- Buff first Tarte's Mod and then Drama into the crease
- Use Nyx's Peacock again to make sure the colour stays vibrant
- Spray a tiny brush with Mac's Fix Plus and use it with Nars' Cressida on the outer two-thirds of the lid
- I put a tiny dollop of Mac's Mixing Medium on the back of my hand and used it with Sugarpill's Paperdoll all over the lid
- I filled in my brows using Anastasia's Brow Duo in Dark Brown and Benefit's Gimme Brow in Shade 3
- I covered up my dark circles using a combination Urban Decay's Naked Skin in Peach; Hourglass foundation in Shell; Kat Von D's Setting Powder
- Use a combination of Tarte's Classic and Vintage in the inner corner and under the brow bone
- I lined my waterline and tightlined with Urban Decay's Vice liner
- I went over the Vice liner on my waterline with Nars' Cressida and connected it to the upper eyeshadow
- I put one coat of It Cosmetics' Superhero Mascara on my upper and lower lashes
- Using Kiss lash glue I applied Ardell 120 lashes to my upper lashes
- I placed Becca's highlight in Prismatic Amethyst on my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose
- I used Nars lipstick in Anna to complete the look
