KVD Eyes with MAC Taraji P. Henson VG Lips
About this Look
The idea was to use as many pinkish and purple shades from both KVD Metal Matte and Pastel Goth for a twilight edge of the sky inspired look. With a kick of bright fuchsia on the lips.
Step-by-Step Guide
First things first: Applied Nyx Angel Veil Primer over my moisturizer/sunscreen, then mixed Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation in equal parts Lt.-Med Honey and Medium Honey. Prepped eyes with UD Eden Primer Potion, applied MAC Orb to browbones, filled brows in with L'Oreal Infallible Continuous Cocoa eyeshadow. Now for the color! working between both Metal Matte and Pastel Goth, I applied as follows: Fringe as my transition, Glitz on inner 1/3 of lid, Twinkle on outer 2/3 of lid, Meow to build up a crease, Dope on outer lid blended over into outer half of Twinkle, used Pink (Opal) from KVD Alchemist to blend Twinkle and Glitz, Ribbon to define crease, Silk to further blend outside edge of Ribbon, Dope on lower lashline. Tightlined upper lashline with Marc Jacobs Blacquer, lined lower lashline with Nyx Faux Black Eyeliner in Obsidian, curled lashes, applied MAC Waveline on upper lashline wings, Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in Blackest Black. On cheeks: lightly contoured with Nyx Taupe HD Blush, then applied UD Bittersweet Afterglow Blush, and Nyx Lavender Steel as my highlight. On lips: MAC Taraji P. Henson Viva Glam Lipstick. To finish up: Tarte Amazonian Clay Concealer in Light-Medium Neutral, Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana to set everything.Products Used

These colors look wonderful on you!
Thank you very much, Tamara! I usually never wear fuchsia lipstick, but I really like this one.
Nancy this look is gorgeous! Love the colors!
Nice! The lips and eyes banging!
Nancy, I love this look on you. I wear a lot of purple eye shadows as I have deep brown eyes so I am very inspired by your look. The lipstick looks amazing on you!
You have amazing eyes.
OMG! Thank you so much, all of you; Janine, Denise S., Deborah S. and Michelle! I am so humbled by this response, because without my “warpaint” I feel so plain jane and blah, but playing with all the different shades and textures and pushing my imagination brings me much joy, so if it inspires others, then even more joy! ?
