Looks - Starflash Made Soft

I did this look for yesterday’s outing with the relatives 🙂 Pretty simple, but I liked it nonetheless!

How’s everyone doing? What’s on your to-do list today?

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Soft Ochre paint pot (creamy neutral base), Dreammaker eyeshadow (white-gold), Go! eyeshadow (dark shimmery brown), Ricepaper eyeshadow (soft neutral highlight), Rich Ground fluidline (coppery brown gel liner), Blacktrack fluidline (black gel liner), Plushlash mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Suncentered colour forms powder (soft peachy)
  • Lips: Mari-sheeno lipstick (coral-pink), Cle de Peau #2 Gloss (pink duochrome)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Dreammaker = Nylon; Go = Tempting; Suncentered = Cantaloupe; Mari-sheeno = Skew

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base with the 249. All over the lid, apply Dreammaker using the 239. Apply Go! eyeshadow to the outer edge of the lid, overlaying it with Dreammaker. Darken crease with Go! eyeshadow by dragging it into the crease area with the 239. Sweep Ricepaper underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Blacktrack fluidline on lower lash line, Rich Ground fluidline on upper lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Suncentered using the 129. Apply Mari-sheeno lipstick to lips, and then top with Cle de Peau #2 Gloss for color and shine.

I love it! You look soooo pretty! I think this is one of favorite looks that I’ve seen you do recently. Then again, I really like neutrals cuz I have to stick to neutrals for work and I’m always looking for new ideas =) I am gonna try this out!

I love this look! You are soooo pretty christine (even more than normal!!) :D….you are actually GLOWING! Has anything really good happened recently, or is the the fantastic magic-makeup…?!?!!

I love the liner you used – a softer alternative that still makes your eyes pop.

And I also love the happy photo shots – a smile upgrades all makeup creations!

The rich ground fluidline looks excellent on you! I know how you very seldom use eyeliner on your upper lash line but having a light colored one really makes the eyes pop. very sweet!

This is a really pretty look! I don’t usually go for neutrals, but this looks so good can’t wait to try it. Didn’t think I wanted/needed any fluidlines, but now I definitely do 🙂

today…….work and work and work and go home and sleep. that’s about it. debating whether or not i want to shell out $150 for a haircut at Bumble & Bumble……….shall I??

I totally agree with prev comments. You look more beautiful, it’s the different poses or different makeup or both or something else altogether. Please share 🙂

Very pretty, you look so sweet in these photos. I also like the fluidline.
You know what could be a possible dupe for your 50$ gloss? Chanel Glosimer in Twinkle (No.11), it is not that expensive and I think real similar!

i purchased dream maker, smoke and diamonds, go, and grand entrance today. i absolutely LOVE the texture and how pigmented they are…much much better than the mineralize eyeshadows. im debating going back for mink and sable and bold and brazen…are they worth it?

Love it Christine…I actually think I could pull this one off. lol As for my things to do today…taking my 16 yr old for her drivers permit today. Shes a good driver, but I’m not a good passenger (with a teen with a permit behind the wheel) That goes in the Daddy dept. here. Have a great day ladies :o)

Hi there! I was just wondering, whats a nice colour that would go with bold and brazen (preferably in the browns family)… I bought glamour check but I am not sure if I love it because of the red in it and it looks similar to sketch on my skintone. Please let me know 😀 Thank you!!!

Jamie Avatar

Actually, never mind 😛 lol I just tried skecth and glamaour check on my eye PROPERLY with bold and brazen and sketch is WAYYY darker. Do you think woodwinked/bronze/GO/Tempting might be a better substitute?? Which one do you prefer?? Thanks again 😛
