Looks - N Inspired Eye with Nanogold, Modest Tone, Neutral Pink, Dark Edge, Light Flush

I used Your Ladyship pigment on lid, Nanogold eyeshadow on inner lid, Modest Tone eyeshadow on middle of lid, Neutral Pink eyeshadow on outer lid, Dark Edge eyeshadow lightly in the outer crease, Nanogold eyeshadow above crease and on brow and lower lash line, and Feline kohl power on lower lash line. I wore Light Flush mineralize skinfinish with Sculpt sculpting powder to contour. I had 3N lipstick with 2N lipglass on my lips.

It’s so pretty! Thank you! 🙂 Do you put your shadows on wet? How do you feeling about wet vs dry?

Thank you for posting these pics! They’re always helpful!

this look is amazing, like i seriously want to make it my everyday look. i know the colors you used are all from the new collection but can you think of any dupes for any of the shadows? I dont really wanna buy so many LE colors if there’s stuff in the permanent line that’s pretty close.

Christine Avatar

Thanks, Stephanie! It’s a really easy look, and it looks like you’re wearing makeup, and yet it’s quite subtle.

Motif is the closest permanent color to Nanogold, but it’s more orange/peach. There’s no real dupe for Modest Tone or Neutral Pink, IMO. NARS’ Brazil eyeshadow duo has a pink in it that is close, though.

Omg now i have to go order light flush too! I’ve never really been a fan of mineralize skin finish but this looks so subtle that i have to try it!

Hey Hannika!

I fell in love with Estee Lauder’s DayWear Plus when I tried it, so I use that in the morning. It is a thicker cream, especially since the one I have is for very dry to dry skin (I think they make lighter formulas, though). Prior to that, I used Olay’s Complete, though, and I was satisfied with it.

For any super super dry spots, I use Osmotics’ Cream Extreme as a spot treatment for a day or two until it goes away.

At night, well, I use so many different ones, because I’m testing several, but also because I like a lot of them. I really like MAC’s Moisturelush, because it is SO THICK! I only use it at night because of the richness (and no SPF). I also use a cream by PCA Skin because from time to time because it’s a thinner cream.

I love this look…can you tell me how you apply all of your eyeshadows? Do you put them all on and THEN blend or do you blend as you add each one? Do you use a different brush for application and blending? Thanks!

Christine Avatar

Thanks, Bella! I will actually be posting a tutorial for this look soon enough. But please check out the tutorial section in the meantime, because I really do use the same technique in most ofmy looks. There is also an article about what brushes I use in the featured posts section at the top of the website! 🙂

Wow this look is so beautiful!! At first I didn’t think I would like the N Collection, but after testing the products, I really love this collection!! I bought 3 of the eyshadows, 2 of the lipsticks, and the Light Flush, which is really gorgeous!!
I tried to copy this eye look today, but I think I need a little more practice, because for some reason it didn’t come out as good as I had hoped. Is there a reason that you use the Your Ladyship pigment – is that your base?

This is a GORGEOUS look that gives you such a natural glow. I’m really digging Light Flush on you, its like your cheeks but better. Also, I love that you used Your Ladyship pigment as the base under these otherwise quite neutral/satin shadows. It definitely makes them pop.

Hey Christine! :)….
You know i saw this “look”… and i ran out yesterday and bought the MSF…but it looks a lil copper toned on me…and im about your complection…so i was wondering does it look like that on you too…because i cant tell from the pic…and also…do you know of any blush that MAC would have in a light pink…[sheertone shimmer finish]
thanx so much…
p.s…i love your page!

Christine Avatar

Hey Yuleiny! I’m really glad you liked the look enough to run out and buy it! I’m surprised it looks coppery on you! It goes on quite shimmery pink for me – have you tried using a slightly pink blush, maybe Margin, under it? Breezy and Dollymix are the only pink blushes, but they don’t have any light pink ones in that finish!

Yuleiny Avatar

hey agian Christine :)!
so i asked my friend how did the MSF looked on me n she said it looks pretty pastel pink to her lol…maybe it was just the yellow light in my bathroom that made it look coppery…[because you know how it has a lil gold in it]…so now i love it!..Oh and im gonna try Breezy…cause i already have dollymix…i like that one…its like a candy pink :D…anyway…thanx so much for your responce…
your the best!
