Lit Lit Kits ($19.95 for 0.28 oz.) have launched at Sephora, and they come in two varieties–silver and gold–with each kit containing one full-sized glitter (0.14 oz.) and a miniature-sized Clearly Liquid Glitter Base (0.14 oz.), plus a miniature-sized brush for application. I reviewed Lit and its glitters and adhesive base a little over a year ago here, and I’m excited that they’re going to become more accessible as they roll out more fully on Sephora.

Lit’s glitters are available in four sizes (1 through 4) and four textures (shimmers, solids, metallics, and electrics). , so depending on the finish you want, you can select from an assortment. Their online catalog is quite extensive, though right now Sephora only has two Lit Kits available–but I know they’ll be adding more to Sephora over the next few months. These kits are a great way to try the brand, though. I really love both their adhesive base as well as their glitters. What I like about the adhesive base is that it’s thin, like water, a little goes a long way, it’s long-wearing, and it’s very easy to remove. It rinses off with water, and the glitter removes really, really cleanly if you splash or rinse your face with water. Otherwise, I would recommend a clean cotton pad to remove the majority, and then a second (clean) one to remove any residual bits left on the skin.

Champagne Wishes is described as a “light beige gold with floating translucent rainbow bubbles.” It’s a light, yellow-y gold glitter base with floating (who would have thought!) pastel glitters in lavender, pink, mint green, and aqua blue. The gold glitter seems very fine, while the more multi-colored glitter seems slightly larger. This is listed as a size 2 glitter.

Tinsel Town is described as a “pure silver sparkle highlighted by multi-halo reflections.” It’s a pale, metallic silver with floating pastel glitters in pink, lavender, aqua blue. It seemed like it has the same multi-colored floating effect as Champagne Wishes but with a silver glitter base. Again, the silver glitter seemed a bit finer than the multi-colored bits, but all in all, it’s a finer glitter. It is listed as a size 2 glitter.

I don’t have any dupes for either shade in my stash, but I don’t have an extensive collection of loose glitters to compare to 🙂

I’ve been drooling over their glitters for a long time, but their website is beyond horrible, and sephora doesn’t ship to where I live 🙁 bummer.

it’s more the pelting you with music you don’t really want to listen to that bothers me, it’s annoying and a bit rude. if it was just once I could see it, but no, it’s everytime you go to a different page on the site, it starts again so you have to pause it again and again :/

so excited! i actually had purchased the mac nocturnals pigment set in green/teal and was so bummed to bring it home and read the ‘not safe for eyes’ stipulation, followed by your review of it and more research to specify why it wasn’t safe. i ordered this from sephora with the VIB 20% discount and can’t wait for it to get here. i figured i had some neutral yet chartreuse eyeshadow as well as nudes and one that looked like the teal pigment but i didn’t have a glitter.

I really wish they released a bit more at once – the sets are cute, but I think their glitter base is awesome and really can be used with *any* loose glitter you may already have so it’s a nice way to say hello!

Or you know, a few stacks 😉

I do hope that when they launch more shades at Sephora that they’re not all included as kits. Otherwise we’ll end up with loads of glitter bases and no way to use them all! Very happy to see Lit at Sephora too!

I was SO excited when I saw them added to Sephora.com! Lit Cosmetics didn’t ship to my address, but I can finally get my hands on them because Sephora does. I hope they add more products in the future!

I picked these up on a whim in store during VIB And I’m so glad I did. Lit is actually based out of my hometown, too! All the girls at Sephora were super excited.

I remember buying LIT from a kiosk the owner had set up in a consignment store in Calgary. That was only about 10 years ago, I’m amazed at how fast she expanded!

I was so happy when I rinsed the little brush that came in the kit, and all the base and glitter came off so easy. I was worried about having a gummy brush after multiple uses.

Lit it so amazing! Their website is a little difficult to manoeuvre but I’ve made a few orders and accumulated over 20 different colors. They are so versatile and the liquid base holds that glitter for hours without budging anywhere! I’ve lined my eyes and done many different looks and it never irritates my eyes (and I wear contacts) and when it’s time to wash off a couple swipes and it’s gone! Love love love Lit glitter, and so happy to see Sephora is now carrying it. If you order from their website the customer service is always top notch and she includes a handwritten note, a few stickers and a coupon for one free glitter with your next order. I only wish it was easier to see the actual colors on her site, some have arrived and weren’t exactly what I was expecting. But seriously, this glitter is amazing!

I would wear champagne kisses on the out corner of my eyelid paired with a bronze eyeliner, black mascara,
my bronze cream blush, and matte brown bugandy lips. some soft highlighter under brow bow.
fine filled brows and well defined with a brow wax.

While I do have glitters, I don’t have any with those pastel sort of sparkles. Tinsel Town’s closest but not exact dupe would be the silver glitter from Wet n Wild’s Fantasy Makers, called Glitz; it’s your regular iridescent silver so it’s bright and in your face with green, blue, purple, etc. Champagne Wishes’ dupe would be the discontinued Hot Gold from NYX’s Glitter Mania; it’s much more yellow-gold than the beige-gold of Champagne Wishes and again, no pastel but full-on brightness!

I want Lit glitters so badly, so I’m happy to know they’re at Sephora now too ~
