First, I pictured all of these colours together and I saw a really wicked bruise and second, the depth and texture are all wrong for me for summer.  Personally, I would have gone lighter/brighter unless they swatch much lighter than what they look.

@wwendalynne I’ve never seen any of the products in person, but from what I’ve seen on the home shopping channel (forgot which one), these types of shadows go on sheer when dry, but are intense when wet. I definitely wouldn’t wear any of them together (let alone all three), but a wash on the lid, blended out with a soft neutral peach or beige. I personally like the colors by themselves, but I have similar shades already.

@xamyx  I thought of you yesterday when I did my makeup because my new Sleek palette has a groovy peach shadow.. yup, and I wore it..  I had a very earthy dark green/medium brown eye going on and put the peach in lieu of my usual beige and I hated it until I laid a more purple burgandy over the brown.  There is something about a 100% warm earthy neutral eye that just doesn’t work on me and I think that is why I’ve strayed away from peach over the years.  Weird, huh?

@xamyx I actually love the colours too 🙂 and I have a couple of those MAC metal finish shadows in a similar blue and a red/purple.  I also use as a wash and go wet on the lid and then let it dry and dry above it to fade it out.  Super pretty and simple!  When I first looked at this ‘collection’,  I was viewing it as a whole vision and it threw me with the darkish colours and the weird combo on lip glosses.  It just didn’t say summer collection to me and I completely agree the addition of a natural shade would have made it much more cohesive in my mind.

@wwendalynne With all this talk about the upcoming Fall collection, and the fact we’re experiencing *serious* “June Gloom” here in So Cal, I keep forgetting it’s not even Summer yet, LOL. I think a nice pinky nude gloss & a nice terra cotta or gold shadow would have rounded this collection out a little. I’ve been wanting to try her products for a while, and the shadows are tempting.
