It’s not a new one, but Tom Ford Escapade + Pink Haze Cream Eyeshadows together!
Thanks to reader Me for today’s question! Do you have a question idea? Submit yours here.
I was recreating Nikkie’s Frozen tutorial, or attempting to, when it ended up turning into something else entirely but it was still purple, a light icy pink, and a darker hotter pink, like Dollipop.
Urban Decay Sin, Darkhorse, and Blackout is one of my favorites.
Hustle, not Darkhorse
Oh man, Darkhorse and Sin are spectacular together too, but I love Darkhorse in general.
MAC’s All That Glitters and Quarry.
Sounds perfect!
It’s my go-to look!
I actually just tried that this past week!
I like MAC Cranberry on lid, Shadowy Lady in crease, and UD Strange under brow. Looks good with that new UD liner Blackheart.
Mac Club and Humid with Old Gold pigment over the top. Turned out even better than I had expected. 🙂
UD Naked 3 look using Mugshot on the lid with Darkside in the outer corner and into the crease with Nooner to blend that out and Limit as a transition. Used Strange on the browbone and inner corner with a tiny bit of Blackheart just in the outer v.
I’m glad you’re loving Naked 3! I haven’t gotten around to playing much with mine, yet.
Hopefully, the palette will grow on you, Amy! I’m surprised I like it as much as I do since most of these aren’t shades I typically would pick for myself.
I love the right half, but not the left as much. I’ve played with it a little, and I do like it, but Naked 2 is still my favorite.
Mac Cranberry on the lid, Satin Taupe in the crease and vanilla as a highlight. Winter love!!!
Just got two Kat Von D palettes, Poetica & Ladybird. There are an assortment of combinations I have tried and really liked from both of them. My current favorite has got to be Chandler on lid with Wonderland on the outer corner & into the crease with Tijuana or khol as liner. I have green eyes and the orange and blackened plum-burgundy combo is really striking. I had never used KVD shadows before, best major palette purchases I’ve made in a long time. I’m really pleased with both of them!
Ladybird goes so well with all of her palettes! I actually use it alot with Sinner.
I love it. It works with everything I have used it with! Every color is a favorite, I can see myself actually using this one up.
I didn’t think I’d ever touch Cleopatra, but it actually works on me!
MAC’s Club on the crease and Wet n Wild’s dark gold color in the I Got Good Jeans palette on my eyelid. 🙂
NARS Kauai Duo one! Really loved the way the look turned out 🙂
There have actually been quite a few, when I think over it, but the one that immediately sprang to mind when I read the question was quite a simple combo I di ages ago:
Urban Decay eyeshadows in Infamous and Limelight, with a brown liner (probably UD demolition). I got *so* many compliments on it, and I felt great wearing it the whole time!
I needed something really “long lasting” a few days ago and pulled out Maybelline Tough as Taupe (which I haven’t used in ages) and applied that all over the lid and then pressed TheBalm Insane Jane over top and up into the crease. I used TooFaced Heaven as a highlighter. It’s not the most exciting of combos but Insane Jane looks SO nice that the whole look ended up being very pretty and it lasted through a very long day.
Urban Decay Foxy to highlight, UD Snakebite on inner and outer third of eye and lower lash line, MAC Coppering in middle third, MAC Patina to blend those into Foxy. It was a pretty intense look .
Laura Mercier’s African Violet on the lid with MAC’s Soba in the crease and outer corner.
I wore theBalm Adagio (from the Balm Jovi palette) on the entire lid last night, with MAC Silver Dawn smoked out in the crease. I think I liked it so much because I got the blending just right, which has always been hard for me!!
One that sticks out to me was MACs Gilty Morsel and Wedge. They are both sort of barely there colors, but it hit the spot for me.
Nars Earth Angel Eye Shadow Duo.
I love the taupe in that duo, but am still experimenting with incorporating the green shade. Can I ask you how you were this combo?
Inner corner of eye taupe, crease and outer corner green.
Thanks Lily!
I love my everyday combo of a neutral coppery lid with a dark smokey outer V and crease, usually using navy blue or dark purple and a coordinating eyeliner. Sometimes I’ll keep the crease colour neutral, either brown or pewter, and add a pop of colour with a teal or bright purple eyeliner.
My daughter often comments on how pretty my eyes look, especially with a brighter eyeliner, and lately she’s been getting into the neutrals more herself (as in borrowing my Naked 2 palette daily!)

MAC Satin Taupe on the lid, MAC Deep Damson in the crease, MAC Haux as a transition shade, MAC Yogurt to highlight brow bone
I last wore the Wet n Wild Silent Treatment trio palette together. I love that for a nice smokey eye look.
OMG, YES!
Well today I wore Bootycall on my lid, Tease on my outer v, and Snakebite lightly deep in the corner of my eyes all from the Naked 2 palette. Then MAC’s Shroom on my brow bone and The Balm’s Mary Liu Manizer in the inner tear ducts. Long combo but I just love this combo. It flatters my NC25 skin perfectly!
MAC Naked pigment on the brow bone. MAC Dark Soul pigment on the inner and outer corners of the upper eye lid and lower lash line. MAC Copper Sparkle pigment on the centre of the upper eye lid and lower lash line.
I love Urban Decay’s sin, chopper and smog for an everyday eye!
I’m loving Urban Decay’s Sidecar all over my lids and then Hustle close to my lashline.I’ve been loving this particular combo late now that I’ve dug out my Naked palette to use.
I did a look a few days ago with Mac Blanc Type and Urban Decay Laced that was subtle and really pretty!
I’ve really only been using my NYX Butt Naked “eyes” palette ever since I bought it just after Halloween. I have sooo many palettes/eyeshadows, so sticking to just one palette this long is absolutely out of character! This is a palette that is absolutely fool-proof, and I just randomly choose different shadows and go with it. This palette gives me the quintessential “naked” eye that no other neutral palette can, with absolutely no effort.
mac’s patina and greensmoke as a green/golden/caramel smokey eye. I worn that for the last 3 days and i almost never recycle eye looks several days in a row .
Lately loving Laura Mercier Rose Gold Caviar Stick all over the lid, covered with MAC All That Glitters, then lashings of mascara. Perfect for a bright, fresh wide-eyed day look.
General base is mot new but, I mix it up on the outer crease or outer V.
LORAC PRO palette: cream and pink on lid, mauve and taupe combo as transition.
Outer Crease: Taupe and Mac Amorous Alloy
Outer V: MAC Blackberry
I was trying to recreate Pixiwoo’s Katy Perry “We Love Who We Love” video makeup look. I used MAC Layin’ Low Paint Pot, Inglot 102R (lightest color) and UD Naked+Buck on the crease. Add kitty liner and mascara… Gorge!
Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes:
– Vanilla Nuts (cream) inner corner and browbone
– African Violet on lid
– Plum Smoke in crease
– Kir Royale in outer V
– Violet Ink to line
Le Metier de Beaute
– Alexandrite and Fig (reddened violet, reddened eggplant) (not sure what else I used with these)
– Tuscan Sunset (peach/apricot) and Fire Lily (pink-raspberry-red), plus Rouge Bunny Rouge Tantalizing Lovebird (cool-toned coral pink) and Unforgettable Oriole (very light gold)
MAC Deep Damson and whatever deep, dark shimmery brown. Oohh, orgasmic.
Another commenter reminded me: Darkhorse. That’s the perfect brown for this.
No, it’s not Darkhorse…
Can’t remember what it is.
Nooner and anything from the light end of the Naked 3. I like to change it up every day unless I’m rushed in which case it’s a wash of color and eyeliner.
i really love burgundy colors. i wore tom ford’s palette which is the dark berry or burgundy color. palette name is burnished amber. my fav. color is at the the darkest redish color
UD Juju all over the lid, UD Beware in the crease, Bewitch in the crease and outer v, and Broken on the browbone. I paired it with Mac Rebel lipstick and loved the combo so much I’ve worn it most of the week!
MAC’s moshi moshi shadow blended with Inika ‘s eternal marine mineral eyeshadow.
black eyeliner on my upper lashline
Tarte’s azurite green smolder eyes in waterline
and Urban Decay stagedive heavy metal glitter liner in the inner corners of my eyes.
it’s my favorite green eye “look”
All MAC e/s: Mulled Cider LE (Warm & Cozy collection) in my crease, Arena browbone highlight, Satin Taupe on my eyelid, Embark in my outer corner, with a small amount of Carbon over it.
MAC Copperplate into my crease, satin taupe halfway on my lid, grain on the first half of my lid, blended into satin taupe, carbon on my outer v, omega to blend out the copper plate and the carbon in my crease, mylar on my brow bone. I was inspired by Bunzie13 on YouTube.
Laura Mercier Orchid Cavair Stick with MAC Circa Plum pigment on top, and MAC Blanc Type as a highlight. And I was wearing Nars Sin as a blush, and decided to try some in the crease, it ended up looking really pretty!
Maybelline tattoo Matte Brown as base, Chanel illusion d’ombre Fatal all over the lid, Burberry Rosewood in the crease, Burberry Mulberry outer lid. It came out looking really pretty :).
Bamboo on lid, soft brown outer v and Swiss chocolate in crease all by mac, blended out with vanilla.
I´m obsessed with Mac Swiss Chocolate on crease and Maybelline Pure Pigments in Barely Brazen on inner corner. <3
