Lancome Color Design Matte Lipstick: Stylista, Plum Show, Posh Pink, Red Haute

Lancome Mix & Matte Collection: Matte Lipsticks

For a complete review, please read part one, which goes over the features of the lipstick and all that jazz! 🙂

  • Stylista is a softened coral-peach with full color coverage.
  • Plum Show is a darkened, slightly vampy red that applies smoothly and opaquely.
  • Posh Pink is a brightened pink with just a smidgen of coral-ness to it.
  • Red Haute is a fierce, bright tomato red that applies beautifully and has rich color payoff.

This month, Lancome launches Mix & Matte, a collection of eight matte Lancome Color Design Matte Lipstick ($22 each, available in Bronze Show, Corset, Lucky Kiss, Pink Preview, Plum Show, Posh Pink, Stylista, and Red Haute) and eight Color Design Eye Shadow Matte ($16.50, available in Chic, Daylight, Fashion Label, It List, Successorize, Sultry Mauve, Vintage, and Wear It Well). This collection is available exclusively at Macy’s and Lancome’s website.

OMG these are super gorgeous!! Not at all what I expected of matte lipstick (which I don’t usually love)

I can’t decide between Stylista and Corset…loveeeeee them!! Thanks for your amazing reviews as usual!!

I like how they look but sadly they are ALL SOOO dupable 🙁 and I promise you I have these colors in my collection so I cannot justify the purchase but seriously I want all four!…haha atleast I show some consistency…I like these colors cuz I’ve already paid for them.;)

A very LOOOOONG time ago, Lancome did their mattes in a slender tube. I use to wear the red on top of Prescriptives fudge liner religiously for that epic 90’s brown red look. I must have gotten traumatized by MAC’s matte lipsticks because I refuse to wear them but if these are truly moisturizing I may give it a go!

Posh Pink is truly lovely but I have a feeling Plum Show would be better suited for my skin tone.

Wow these are gorgeous! I love these colours, when I saw the other post I was certain I was going to pass, but now, I’ll just have to get it!

I think I need to stop checking temptalia Christine, I’ll end up broke! (but with beautiful make up! :p)

I wonder if these will be launched in Europe… if so, I definitely need Stylista, looks like the perfect summer lipstick!

They don’t look very matte, but they still look really pretty for what they are. I’m looking forward to trying them. I’m still on the hunt for a great true matte lipstick though.

OMG! These lipsticks are amazing. I love stylista and posh pink.

I just was at the counter to ask when they’ll be launched here in switzerland. didn’t get any good answer. (“maybe in six month” is not an answer!!)
i hate, when the sales ladies think, i can’t afford this makeup and treat me like this.

These look so pretty especially Lancome Stylista Lipstick. Hmmm… I wonder if that would go well with my NC25-30 skintone.

ps. Thanks for reviewing Korres lipsticks

Stylista and Pink Posh are my favorite! I am so through with drying matte lipsticks, can’t pull it off. I will be checking these out at Macy’s for sure!

Christine do you think Posh Pink is dupable with any MAC Cremesheens or Amplified Cremes? or do you think it’s worth getting? I’m definately going to get Corset! Thanks.

Hi Christine! Do these lipsticks have good MAC (or other) dupes that you can think of. I LOVE the look of Sylista, Posh Pink, Corset, Lucky Kiss, Pink Preview and Red Haute! I’m in Canada so I don’t have access to them but I just think that 6 of these are gorgeous! It must be the finish or something that is making these look so amazing to me. Thanks!

OMG! these could be some matte lipsticks I might really start to wear~
they don’t look drying at all and I LOVE the colors!
stylista and posh pink looks yum!<3

do you think stylista would be good as a nude/natural lip for a bolder eye look, I’m an NC42/43 and I’m not too sure about velvet teddy, or maybe bobbi brown pink? it seems to look pretty natural on you!
